Hi Emma, a question about the candles as I had been thinking of ordering.... I noticed that they poured unscented wax for the majority of the candle, waited until that hardened, and then only added the scent oils in a little bit of wax to pour the last inch of space of the candle... So once I burn the top layer of my candle off, it will just be an unscented candle? 🤔
Mine are scented all the way down as I'm more than half way down some I used for filming. I think this is a case of, it just looks like that in the clips. On the filming day they were just making ASMR clips out of parts of the process and not showcasing it exactly. However I am going to check on all of this.

There were some aspects of the Trish video that don't directly portray mass production of the candle, but more so catered to the candle-making ASMR experience. Trish has a precise amount of each scent added to each candle she creates in mass production in order to keep all candles consistent, her "formula" if you will.'

My mom gave me a candle making book for Christmas the first Christmas I was married (23 years ago this year). This video made me get that book out and want to start making candles again!!
Wonderful video, Emma. I’m several hours late watching this, but man was it worth the wait. I’m not usually a huge fan of layered sound ASMR videos (I often find that too many sounds on top of each other is overwhelming to me) but all of the sounds in this were gentle enough in this that I was able to enjoy them, so thank you for that. Everything sounded wonderful in this. I especially enjoyed the soy wax chip, plastic crinkling and gentle glass tapping sounds in this, so thank you for including all of those. Lovely video as always. Hope you and your family are staying safe and healthy. Keep up the great work.

I don’t know what it was about it, but the additional tapping in the background gave me insane tingles, and I don’t usually get ASMR tingles! I didn’t even have headphones on! 🤯 Oh the power Emma has! ❤
So many beautiful sounds!! As a candle maker I must say I was shocked at the lack of measuring that went into the fragrances, an incorrect balance can really badly impact the candle quality. In this case it might just be a real display of how experienced this lady is at candle pouring!

The video was amazing and great tingles, but i couldn’t help but be surprised at how little candle is actually scented 😳 Like I'm sure this is normal for the industry and is probably all that is needed, but daymmmmm I feel like I've been scammed XD
I’ve been making candles for years and their entire process was so slapdash. There’s a science to it, weighted ratios, mixing times, mixing and pour temps and times, and you don’t just quickly pour everything into the jar, it’s supposed to be a slow process or the fragrance can burn off or not fully mix with the wax and then you have all kinds of issues.

Your candlemaker doesn’t appear to weigh her fragrance/essential oils. Maybe she was just playing but typically you weigh the precise amount of essential oil that goes in. But the ASMR was nice 😊
