Bullet trains are expensive, for countries like China or India. But without the bullet trains, the alternative - every one drives, our Mother Nature will crash. Sir, I am delighted to note that India - China discussed about improving, Upgrading, anf introducing new fast trains in India. It is also interesting to note that Bangalore - Mysore to improve these rail services.. Sir, I am a Mysorian by birth, all my life till I was 32 years. I had my education there and my family originates from Mysore for the last 135 years. My I intervene here with my observation and study. There is already a Railway link ( Broad gauge) line ( I am proud to say the first Railway line was introduced, started when my Great Grand Father was the Dewan of the then Mysore Royal state) well that is history, now it has seen many changes to improve its services but its progress is very slow. I feel when the government is planning to improve this system. I have a very strong feeling to say that Instead of disturbing the already existing line the government should think of introducing.a new (way) line like this. Mysore to Nanjangud to Chamaraj Nagar to Kollegal to T.Narasipur to Bannur to Kanakapura to Bangalore. This route covers a very large area of Agricultural operations and all the traders will find it very easy to bring all their produce to Bangalore for marketing. Now people of all these areas have to come by Bus or other local transport to the nearest Rail station to reach Bangalore for official work or for trading. This will also help the Civic authorities to De-congest Bangalore which is already overpopulated If they introduce this Rail line there are options for linking Nanjagud ( via Gundelpet) to Calicut ( Kozhikode) Gundelpet to Nilgiris. . Chamaraj Nagar to Coimbatore via Mettupalayam for cheaper trading I also would like to mention here there is a good scope to link Shivamoga to Harihara This is a very important link as people from In and around Shivamoga can reach Hubli. Belgaum and Poona and Mumbai by at least one hour soon. I can keep updating more economic development Shivamoga is a very rich agricultural product growing belt and people can reach more bigger markets to sell more and even at a lower rate. Thank you.

Where is 70,000 crores for each small bullet train track? better to make air travel cheaper, make more airports, change rail tracks, put more trains, improve the architecture of train stations and invest in providing quality primary & secondary education, health services and put a check on population growth.
