Excellent overview of the Behringer X-32 Digital Mixer. You explain each item on the board in detain. Excellent RUclips training video on the Behringer X-32. Thanks! Sid Wilson-Sacramento, CA 7-11-16

Thanks for the video; it showed me exactly what I wanted to see. Looks like I'll get one of these for my theater.

Hi, thanks for that great video. Do the faders on the X32 last long? I have read mixed reviews about them not lasting long enough. Thanks!

FAT CHANNEL is used on Presonus boards, not on Behringer.

i can't figure out how to tag on RUclips, but anyway, audio media (or anyone) can you tell me if you can use the XLR outputs for monitors or does it have to be the quarter inch aux outs??

hi and thanks for the great review , when you have 2 layers active on the inputs like 1-8 and 9-16 , will you have the full functions of the right side faders when you select them ( eq , effects , etc.. ) will the board function like a 16 fader board in that mode ( albeit to control only the input faders ) , the reason for my question is that iam limited with the budget so with this feature that you nicely demonstrated , instead of buying the full x32 , i am thinking of buying the compact plus the digital snake which will total to the same price but with more versatility since the boards are otherwise the same unless i am missing out on a major advantage that the full 32 has that i will lose ,what do you think ?

Nice review. Ive had the x32 for the last couple of years and love it. Its gone into the studio and Im now driving the compact. One question if you know. Locking the console. I cant work it out and its not in the same spot as the x32. Any suggestions?
    Cheers. Dave

Dave Padroth to lock the console on the compact or any x32 or midas m32 you simply hold the home button for about 5 seconds and it should lock. That is how my compact locks and every one I have ever used. Thanks I hope this helped

***** I say the X32 100% , I own both the studio live and the X32.. The Presonus is a good board also but is very limited on what you can do with it, the preamps sound good, but so does the X32, You have 8 effects slots on the X32, you only have 2 which is limited to reverb and delays on the presonus, X32 saves your gains, the Presonus does not.. So full scene recall is not possible on the presonus... You have 16 busses on the X32 that can be absolutely anything you want, the presonus can only be monitor sends... I could give you 50 reasons not to go with the presonus. Hope this helps!

***** each to his own preference, you ought to check out the Midas M32 in that case.

Audio Media Production Service Thanks for the tip. I'm about to pull the trigger on a Compact and wouldn't mind keeping it kid-proof.

+010101Gaming I work with both of them every single day. Soundwise, the X32 has more headroom and inteligibility when channels and buses are hard driven. Midas preamps are far better than Presonus.

Thanks for the video, this mixer or the A&H Qu-24 are on top of my list currently. Any long term input or comparison if you've used the Qu-series mixers would be greatly appreciated.

Audio Media Production Service How has the X32 Compact worked out in the long run? Right now it's #1 on my list, I still have a few questions for the folks at Music Group, but right now it seems like a more flexible and future-proof system than the A&H Qu series. Having the new Midas stuff out there really has me re-thinking things. For instance, my current thought is to start with the X32 Compact, add the Midas stage boxes with Midas Pro preamps, then someday I could get a real Midas desk.... The Qu-24 is nice, but can never be more than a 24ch mixer.... any thoughts would be most welcomed, thanks again for the video...

Isaiah Furrow I love the x32 compact! very versitile! Ill tell you the Midas is awesome as well, Although using the compact with midas stage box is a good idea, I would just get the Midas M32r is pretty much the the x32 compact with the preamps and you would probably pay around the same amount anyway. but then you if you went with the compact and the stage box you would have the digital snake.. either way I have been happy with my compact.. It even took a 6 ft fall onto concrete in my cheap case and to my surprise it still works flawless, i may have been just lucky...No matter the decision you make let me know I can hook you up with some presets, that are literally my mixes and routing configurations you can check them out at my website. audiomediaproductionservice.com/behringerx32midasm32presets/

want to buy one but not sure which to choose COMPACT or PRODUCER? Can you advise pls?

    • @audiomediaproductionservic1051
      @audiomediaproductionservic1051  8 лет назад +2

+Ariel Neamt go with the compact for sure... the producer does not have scribble strips to label the channels which makes it difficult to find your way around the console

Hi, Great video! Can you tell me if the mixer protective case you are using is the one offer in the TP model that comes with it included, and how you like the case, and if you have an answer for this, please tell me what's the total weight of the case with Compact mixer included... I will be the one carrying this in an out of my car and clubs! I want to protect the mixer but I am not planing to fly with it, so I do not want to over buy "too much case"...You get the idea, I am looking for lightness... Thank you again!

+Edgardo Cambon the case I am using is very cheap and not very good at all... I need to upgrade for sure.. It was my presonus 24.4.2 case and was a easy option for the time being...Just felt for inner lining... but I can tell you since I do have such a cheap case the board has rode in a truck for 3 years now and during the winter and summer... and the board has taken several falls... I have not had any trouble with this board yet...so I am happy with the durability or maybe I just got lucky.

+Audio Media Production Service thanks for your reply, I got the X32 Compact last week and the case will arrive in a few days. I did my first gig on Friday with a 5tet and the second last night Sunday, without even reading the manual much, nothing fancy on my part : just got a few microphones going and a little Reverb and that was it. I even save the "scenes" of both gigs to get started next., But you can tell that the faders are not very "solid" and that you need to protect this board. Thanks for the video. Now I need to really learn how to use it! (-:)
