It’s not that it was bad, it’s just that it was $300-400 per night quality. These rooms and special features are around $1200 a night. We are used to the above and beyond for prices like that. It just felt weird and overpriced ya know?
I’d say currently Boardwalk Inn or Beachclub. Grand Floridian is still great but more on the upscale romantic side. Another fun family club level would be Wilderness Lodge. 👍🏻

@@EH-ke3sl Polynesian has recently been updated and the club level really doesn't feel like club level anymore to be honest. The décor and new staff makes it feel more cheap than what you are paying for. This is our opinion as being people that have visited Poly club level for years. If you never done Club level at the Poly than it might be ok. Just buyer beware. We felt more at home at Wilderness Lodge, Grand, Beachclub and Boardwalk. More seasoned staff and elegance will be found at these locations. Polynesian needs to step it up a notch. lol

I like the Moana themed rooms, but I feel like they should have done just a few and you could request those rooms if you wanted it. The quality of the Moana rooms are better that the quality of the Incredibles room at Contemporary.
I’ve never been in a Disney resort hotel rooms, but I’ve watched many “room tour” vlogs. I’ve heard The Robe talking about Club Level in the Polynesian in glowing terms. That room didn’t look the least bit special. Instead of a refurb, it was a downgrade. I liked his IKEA & McDonald’s headboard reference. It was right on the money.
That was my first time seeing a full tour of the new rooms!
I know it is different in person. I am not sure about the changes. Since this was The Robe's favorite and for him to not like it has to be bad.

Poly has always been the top destination and it seems Disney just isn’t paying attention anymore., unfortunately.
Looks kinda cheap. Very unfortunate. Shame
