I had to watch this video just to see if you guys show my friend’s house. I’m from Houston and I never heard of Benders Landing until I went to my buddy’s house. That area is a true hidden gem.
i actually work as a delivery driver in that area off Rayford road and it's no lie, that area is VERY nice and appealing! the lot sizes and home sizes and the neighborhood very friendly.
Amazing video as usual. Professional but funny and full of essential infos. Structuring everything to move from Brazil to Houston area in 24-25 with family. Talk to you soon.
If you don’t want to pay any property taxes, there is a small city in southwest part of Houston called Stafford. However they do charge a bit in sales tax.
I live in Benders and there are smaller homes that are in the $600Ks (maybe not with a pool). $600K at this tax rate is like $500K in a new neighborhood with high taxes.
Thanks guys for all your hard work on these videos. I was in houston these past two weeks and I visited all the area you mention. But we fell in love with the Avalon cypress home. Our dream home is there. And god permitting will be ready in early September 🙏🏼
Good creative video and informative we need more like these-especially for those of us thinking about moving with kids! I like the part when you left Jojo speechless!🤣
Really good to watch. Im addicted. Could you cover the Lakewood Forest area? Interesting megahomes and the place I grew up at. I went to school in Tomball which had a small town feel. It's really changed and a freeway was built. It was just a highway earlier. I almost didnt recognize the high school!
Hello, I’ve been watching your videos for several months; about three weeks ago I listed my home on the MS Gulf Coast and relocating y’all’s way. My goal is minimum 10 acres up to around 50. New construction on water as I have and rescue cattle dogs…13 at the moment. My goal is to walk out my new home and hike in any direction with no neighbors…..also a pool is in my budget. LAND, NEW HOME & POOL NORTH-NORTH EAST of Houston, Conroe, Woodland and so forth and so on.
How do you feel about Pearland/Manvel area? I’ve been planning my move to Houston for two years and just got a job out there and I’ve heard some good things, curious how you feel about the area?
Long sold here on ‘new urbanism’- pedestrian/ cycle-oriented, Main Streets, mixed-use village styled communities, I refuse to buy into any that can’t even consider a frickin sidewalk to be necessary.
It's out there, not much to walk or bike to. But for exercise, it's nice for walking and biking. I see groups coming to the neighborhood to ride road bikes.
That’s because they don’t exist anymore… unless you’re willing to move to a crime ridden area which I doubt . But yah… that pricing did exist about 15-20 years ago but with he large influx of people moving in, demand has gone up. Not worth it in my opinion
I don't know what planet your from but Houston has some of the highest taxes in the state and last year jumped over 300 percent. The state has taken over the school district and population increase out paces jobs. Stafford has taxes also. Don't move here it is getting worse by the day and stores are starting to close.
@@barryscott3458 where did you relocate from? Elyson seems like a very nice place is there a lot of trails bike paths I mountain bike throughout the community

Great video! Would be more helpful if we know the price range for those beautiful custom homes.
$$$ 1 million and up
If you have to ask, you can’t afford it my friend

It would be nice to see some smaller houses for a single dad - budget around $500 - $600k with a pool and awesome schools! Just a thought

Woodson's reserve or Spring Trails next door. That was my range too.
Very nice neighborhood but I am getting nervous about flooding plain being close to San Jacinto basin river ….

Great video. What’s property tax rate in this area? Thanks
I’m from Milwaukee Wisconsin and over the snow!
I would love to move to that area, its beautiful
"You damn skippy hippie" 😂😂
Property tax is still over 2+% in this area? Is that considered low in Texas?
Absolutely low. Most new areas are close to 4%
ya like she said below

Love the Costanza reference!
Looks good. This is the one spot I don’t mind that it’s not walkable or bike friendly lol

I’d like to hear more pricing. Didn’t hear or see any of these great $200,000 houses that I know exist in Texas.
