Game of Death promotional documentary (with Bey Logan audio commentary)

- We found this footage in the Reel East archive. Its footage shot for a 1976 promotional film announcing that Golden Harvest intended to complete Bruce Lee's 'Game of Death'. It was for film buyers and distributors worldwide, but I haven't yet met anyone who remembers seeing it! Anyway, an unusual piece of Bruce Lee-related material. Any insights and comments from the dedicated Bruce Lee experts out there gratefully received, also if anyone can put names to the guys in the 'writers room', apart from David Chan and Louis Sit! - Bey

Interesting stuff. They just couldn't get that he couldn't be replaced by anyone.
Always wonder what it must have felt like to have seen enter the dragon when it was first in cinemas , coming out the cinema and thinking wow I can't wait to see more of this Bruce Lee guy .. Then finding out he had passed away ! .. Such a tragedy he died so young :(

Wow, that was surreal. If anything, it played out almost like a deleted scene/alternate ending to Bruce Lee: The Man and the Legend. Also, I always thought that Korean actor that was auditioning (which I recognized was also used in Bruce Lee The Legend) was Kim Tai Jong... guess not? :-p
were the two western men meant to be Andre Morgan and Russell Cawthorne who were the only two westerners on the Golden Harvest staff in 1976 (Andre Morgan who was in 1976 the only westerner on the Golden Harvest production staff)
The guy in the blue that is auditioning for Bruce lee is Kim tai Chung.

the 2 white men in the Golden Harvest staff at the time were Andre Morgan (the only white guy in the Golden Harvest production staff) and Russell Cawthorne could they have been in this film

l remember when l herd they were working on a unfinished movie Bruce was making when he passed away in 73 and l remember getting all excited l and watching game of death when it was realised even though it wasn't all Bruce and you could tell it wasn't Bruce and the cardboard cutouts were laughable they used old clips from his movies we were just desperate to see another Bruce lee movie, Why did they not just follow Bruce lee original scripted about the pagoda starting at the bottom and fighting his way to the top for the ultimate challenge there was so much unused footage and other fight scenes could of been added with the original actors Bruce had hired they would of been glad to of done it as a mark of respect also a good look a like would of been acceptable to fill the gaps were Bruce gets from A to B also maybe dialog from Bruce and using Bruce's voice would of been great "like water my friend" this would of been much better then the crap they came up with
Because if you hide it in plain sight pretty much shows why Lee was really killed hence the live footage of his funeral
