I Thinks I will watch all of your Numerical series within this years. I study Numerical Method base on Steven Chapra and Raymond Canale. This VDO help me very much! Thanks!!
i've watched a number in this series and the presentation is excellent. Much better -imo--than the mit/berkely classroom lectures. Thanks for a great resource.
Jacob Bishop there is a paper, which I'm so interested in working on "Indoor Localization Based on Curve Fitting and Location Search Using Received Signal Strength", my problem is, I want to find algorithm that is similar to curve fitting to obtain the result and try to compare between them, I do really appreciate that sooooo much if you help me with that
Osama Ali I looked briefly at the paper, and I don't see why you can't do this. According to their paper, they use curve fitting during an offline phase in which they create a mapping between received signal strength and distance for sub areas. You will find both curve fitting and regression techniques discussed here useful...and if I ever get time to do it, the optimization unit would be useful to you as well. Also, I have found that the best source of information in trying to replicate work done by others is to simply contact the original paper authors. I hope this helps.
Not sure...I'm teaching 4 classes right now so I'm pretty busy. Producing videos takes quite a bit of time...maybe I will find time during summer break, which is July-August for me.

Thank you for bring such a good course online. Is the part 4 of this course missing or just a typo? Thank you.

Thank you!
where is the part 4?
marvelous explanation, btw, what is the equivalent function to the curve fitting please ?
Thanks...I don't know what you mean by the equivalent function though. Please clarify.

Are you suggesting that coconuts migrate?
Sorry I have another question, are you gonna explain optimization, some time soon

where's part 4 bro haha
Thanx
