Seen Sid when he did a summer-season at Great Yarmouth (The Windmill Theatre) and a woman asked my mum to get me to stop laughing so much and so loudly (I was 7/8) - my mum just said to her 'I'm so sorry that you've come to a comedy-show and don't like the effects of it !' (In other words - ****-off !!). I then met him when he opened a charity football-match there and shook his hand - my life was complete at an early age !
Great British actor Sid James everybody loved him he is a pure legend his acting was of a very high standard he was just a natural tv and radio was just made for our Sid.....
Saturday night at the pictures, the days when feature film's were not always on, so rather than close they played Carry On film's or Hammer film's, happy simple day's

Very sad clip, he really wasn't there for his daughter. To think that seeing your dad on the screen is a visit with him breaks my heart :(
