When I was young we camped out on the coast very close to here. Indeed the water went out so far it was almost lost in the distance
Country name?
@@bajjartv Canada. Bay of Fundy in Nova Scotia
In most places this would call for running because it means a tsunami is headed your way
That's insane. It must be a surreal sight.
@@thepumpkinmaster2596 It happens on most the beaches in India's western coast
The moon is the silent kid in class.....calm and quiet but does everything
True. Good one
Truly amazing
Oh of how from our view here is showing that the moon rises wax and sets wayne all in 1 night, without moving location? Tycho all over the place. Observe every 3-4hours of a 12 hour observation, compare observations. How is any of what your looking at is normal from what you have ever been told. Stay Safe, And Love You ALL🤗
@@breakoutscanner what a nice inclusion to society. Thanks for sharing where your mind spends it's time🤗
@@breakoutscanner lol don't believe me, look at dial-a-moon and make comparisons to earth based and space based models. Or ball and flashlight. Now make that shadow roll 180°. Stop being complicent with your lies. Love Thyself before loving others🤗
It just never stops receding, like my uncle's hairline
it does this twice every day takes about six hours 12 for a full circle, from full to ebb(lowest) and back to full
@@Dargonkin527 It's quite something seeing the boats docked, sitting on the ocean floor.
💀💀💀
@@terrykang6829 oi Felix !!
you too be careful, by the amount of different hair colours you have done huh!? , you too may end up having Uncle's hairline lol
Just kidding
Hai •_• stay!
@@saral606 hello staa~
Wait, highest or LOWEST tide? I would rather have seen this video from low tide to high.
Lowest, I’m sure. Bay of funny is known for its low tide that stretches for miles and can return back to high tide in just a few minutes
Watch it backwards.
@@deepfriedmackerel2263 funny or fundy?
Both.
@DeepFriedMackerel
The tide definitely does not go from low tide to high tide 'in just a few minutes', lmao
When the vid said "Highest"tide, i thought it would reach half the cliff lmao
Saaame
Right?? I expected to watch a video of high tide, this is low tide. So confused 😕
Thats called a "Spring" tide..cuz it "bounces" alot higher when the moon and sun combine forces..the opposite end of the month is the "neap" tide.. its kinda simple when u keep track on a calendar..and u live there of course..
Almost like what you would see the ocean do moments before a tsunami.
the difference is in this video, water decreasing in couple of hours, but on tsunami, the water decreasing in just a coulpe of minutes
My father used to tell us when we were young you see a tide pull out further than it normally does head for high ground
@johnnytheprick yes I agree. Some tides are so swift people can't escape it. Condos do damage when the tides beat on the sea walls and pull out more sand unnaturally. The power of oceans should not be taken for granted.
@johnnytheprick not enough to have had more lives saved but then if it was very large the devastation would take lives further inland. Too many people too close to shore. Too much debris.
@johnnytheprick I hope you don't mind me saying but I like your replies. Something strangely comforting and yes, we are in nature's path. We may change things and not always for right reasons yet there are facts we have to accept and it's not to be controlled by us. Forces so strong.
The Moon watching this video: 🌚
Once when I was a kid (this is in Australia btw, not Canada) I was trapped in an area *very* similar to that with the tide coming in, we (family and I) had walked across an unfamiliar beach, that result in a dead end / cliff face to the east, and had to travel back west (imagine left to right in the video) as the tide rose and we were right against the face as it got higher, with each incoming wave threatening us over, then pull us out.. We lost our shoes and some other crap we'd been holding, but ultimately were "fine" - but super scary and really, a life long lesson!
I was in Perce, Quebec, Canada with friends. They walked out to the big rock when tide was out. I stayed in the village. They had to swim back.
That actually happened? When?
I was there in Canada!! That is not Australia
@@imaidan5024 sorry I didn't word it well. I meant I'm in Australia, as in my childhood story.
Creepy
Imagine camping on the beach with the water miles away!
I live on an island and tourists are known for parking their hire cars on the beach at low tide just to come back later to find them half submerged, lol
@@KumaBean lol
Then you wake up in the next day and BOOM!
Water everywhere
This looks like a good place to set up camp, the tide won’t come in this far
Imagine someone unknowingly tent ⛺ near the shore😂😂
And imagine me and ur sister are having good times in that tent in ur imagination 😂⛺
@@omjagtap3247 like me and your mother did before you were born 😜
Candace : mom phineas and Ferb are making a beach 0:00
When mom comes 0:52
Btw 0:52 is actually a beach and 0:00 isn't, you have named oppositely
LMAO
I love these tide stuff, water going down and up so quickly and so fast
You can enjoy this phenomenon as long as it is the tidal fluctuations and not a Tsunami.
Even in a Tsunami the ocean recedes( that is when you are supposed to run).
that's what she said
It's a beautiful thing to think about how this occurs. Gravitational force between two celestial bodies pulling on one another. A mere 4,000km closer to the moon is what makes this occur. It is enchanting.
IT'S CALLED FLAT EARTH DUMBO. No such thing as fake gravity 🤣🤣🤣 wakey wakey
Don't let the flat-earthers know
Hey what a beautiful beach
6 hours later: ....what...
Very nice capture.
Thank you very much!
feel sorry for the fish who forgot what time it was
😂
Entirely down to the interaction between the Moon and the Earth, a beautiful and essential wonder of nature. 🌊❤
The highest ocean tides are in the north of Western Australia where tides reach 36 feet and form the only horizontal waterfall in the world. These tides happen twice a day! The area is called Talbot Bay...
Definitely one of the highest places as well in the world but Burntcoat Head Park has the highest recorded tides at 70 feet and an average tidal range of 47 feet happening twice daily.
Nope, the bristol chanel rises and falls 40 feet at springs ,near Lydney lock gates . And the tide runs at 15 knots.
we have our "reversing falls" here in Saint John NB, on the Bay of Fundy. Where the tide forces the water back up the Saint John river twice a day between 40 and 50 foot tides on average. your place is close but NOT the highest but you could be right about it being the highest "ocean" tide as we are just a bay off an ocean :)
Beautiful
Thank you for posting this.
I live on the Severn Estuary in the uk. The second highest tidal range behind this one! Great to see the highest. I didn’t know where it was until this video.
I grew up on the other side, near Barry. I think the difference in height between this tide and Avonmouth is only a few inches!
Finally....that was very cool..!! Thank you!!
Am I the only one who expected to hear "Why are we here? Just to suffer?" Because of the background music?
Annyeong ARMY 💜
When i was a kid, i think the sea goes up because of the sun going down the ocean to swim/take a dip
Beautiful video ❤
I grew up in Nova Scotia and Every few months since I was a child I’ve had nightmares that I’m playing down by the mud in the bay of fundy and get stuck and the tide comes in so fast I drown.
The beach on our province was like this too. You have to walk like half kilometer to see the water during low tide
I went on a motorcycle trip from Ohio up and through Nova Scotia. It was awesome. Alma was a cool little town with good camping very close.
Absolutely AMAZING!!
Wow such stunning timelapse 😎
I was down to Kingsport with the family just today! Water was perfect. My favorite beach here in Kings County
I fell off a boat in the ocean when I was a kid so instead of drowning I decided to drink all the water but I was sick after two mouth fulls so I walked back up the beach and had a hot dog
This felt like dream.
Nice
This is very similar to our coasts here in Alaska. If your driving from anchorage to girdwood you can get a really good view of our tidal changes.
You’re
Neat! How long does it take normally; without the time laps? Or should I say, when is high tide and low tide there?
this was amazing😍
Great job !👍
I mean, who is going to wait and watch this moment for six hours!
If it had happened over minutes then you are well-advised to get away from there as fast as possible.
Exactly... ruclips.net/video/MhHOcHYJ3m0/видео.html tide change at Clark's Harbour.
I've always wanted to see where the planet's highest tide is so thank you.
I grew up on the shores of the Bristol channel in south western England where we have the world's second highest tidal range: 15 metres.
It was always a challenge to get water from the sea for the moat of your sandcastle at low tide because it was about a mile away it seemed .That and the quicksand!
Those tides went far back as the horizon! Crazy low
So inviting, look at the work the water has done to undermine that cliff face, and then I imaging all the little creatures in the tide pools. Reminds me of my childhood on the shores of the Great Lakes.
Someone put in a lot of effort. Great video
Much appreciated!
@@onthecoastphotography lol how did you ever make it through setting a camera up and hitting the record button? Man the definition of "a lot of effort" is getting pretty pathetic these days.
Good video. Thanks for setting the tripod up and hitting record.
@@davidmurphy1207 All of my timelapses are created from photos. This one in particular was over the course of six hours, consisting of 1500 photos and many more spent editing and getting things right. I’ve made countless mistakes while recording timelapses snd learned along the way. There’s a lot more to it than just pressing record. I’m not sure why you’d feel the need to make the comment you did, I could imagine there’s an underlying issue at hand. I wish you all the best in whatever creative endeavours you have and for people to be appreciative of the work you put into it.
Nice video!
Beautiful & Awesome.
Warning to future campers and strollers on this coast: make sure you are aware of the timing of the Tide's return...otherwise you will be in great mishap. Don't walk below soon you reach the spot because it's barren...the Tide can return anytime and in force atimes..I think it's a 6 hours cycle..so be very careful guys
Splendid!!!
Holy mackeral! that's a lot of views.... and great time-lapse.
Wow! Amazing!
Beautiful location
This high tide is crazy!!
Impressive. I live in Jersey Channel Islands and we have one of the highest as well
Bellissimo video. Grazie
thank you for the vid
I learned more with this video than in tide and ebb class in my school
Everybody gangsta until it's timelapse
This is similar to Watchet in Somerset, on spring tides the tide pulls the sea out of sight
A place in New brunswick, has a beach called new river beach. (It's close to nova scotia) The tides are insane of course.
I didnt realize that Nova Scotia had the same red soil as PEI! The tide going out was pretty cool too.
Nice.....
There's a story on Mr ballen channel where this couple takes a short cut across one of these low tides. Car gets stuck in the mud women gets out to push. Car came free. Women was stuck. Water slowly rose and she drowned
I’m about to attempt this on the coast of Cornwall for my moving image project
What a Beauty ❤️
With this sound love you bro ❤️❤️😜
Kingsport, TN rocks!
The ocean just evaporated.
gorgeous
Muito legal, eu também gosto de fazer Time Lapses.
Does anyone know the name of the music/melody that plays in this video?
I live near the Bristol channel,England and we are no stranger to these tides 😎
Perfect
That is amazing
I remember this scene from a compilation of time lapse videos my father used to show me
I got emotional watching this video
I took the trip around Nova Scotia..really cool stuff...
... and your horse naturally won 😆
So cool
Cool. A pretty gentle slope. I'm heading to The Bay of Fundy, baby. :)
Yo nice!❤️❤️
Was really hoping to see the tide come back in again in the same video to further amplify the effect. Video could have been wayyyy better. But still, thanks.
Tony Ellen person might not have had enough time to do it all.
me after falling asleep before the tides came in:
Hey, where'd the water go??? :D
THANKU
How many feet or meters is the difference?
Super 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Being a prairie jumper this is amazing to me.
Bay of Funday is one such place to see soectacular tides.
I miss going to the beach in summer in Australia
im waiting for it to return
damn u
Nice.
Amazing patience 👍👍👍👍👍
Freaky beautiful nature
"Baby I'm not even here. I'm a hallucination"
Hermosa la creación 🌊
Nice... 🖐️ Bay
OHH WOW WHAT A BEAUTIFUL
that's what she said
Kids:-- Thats an Ocean Tide
Legends:-- Thats a f**ng Tsunami
Legend has it, it's still receeding.
In Puerto Montt Chile, the tide has a range of movements of more or less than a kilometer. when the tide goes out you can see the plots of people who harvest an algae that the cosmetic industry sells.
Saludos desde Chile 🇨🇱😁
Whats this music name
was expecting more
😃 BEAUTIFUL, A great inspiration for my videos, GOOD GOOD GOOD 👍👍👍👍👍👍
In odisha,we have Chandipur beach.during low time the sea goes inside to atleast 5 kilometres
Odisha is a state in India🙂
I would be thankful if you let me know background music
