great video and tips Zheng :). Wonder if you can please share the buyer’s agent details you used in your purchases for WA and Tasmania (like you I’m based in Melbourne and don’t think the market here is worth investing these days). Cheers !
Hi Alon, Thank you for the kind feedback! I didn’t use a buyer’s agent for those purchases, I did all the heavy lifting myself :) I’ll be a buyer’s agent in the coming weeks and I’d be more than happy to help! Let me know if I can assist in any way
I have not paid LMI ever as I got away with 20% deposits arranged from equities, but now think taking LMIs would have been even better. Could have got far, much sooner
What a great tidbit treat at the end there: recycling principal through refinancing, now that's a winner! I'm in the process of incorporating just that to snaffle my 3rd property and its such a handy bonus. Cheers mate!
Great tips zeng! Also a video about investing in regional victoria (e.g. bendigo, ballarat and geelong) would be really good. Myself and some friends are currently looking into these areas as melbourne is getting too expensive. I know you made a video about the topic 6-9 months ago but a more current one would be awesome as more and more people are looking into investing outside of melbourne. Thanks!!
Your videos are very informative and easy to comprehend. Ive got 2 investment properties in regional Vic. Positive cash flow and looking for my third. Any tips on other areas would be much appreciated 😊
Thank you for the great video with tips Zeng. I am a first home buyer and looking for an investment property. I live in Sydney. Me and my husband are not sure if we should buy a property in regional NSW to use first home buyer benefit (NSW Under $650,000 established house = no stamp duty) or SA (positive cash flow + growth). We will definitely go ahead to buy a property in SA if we are not first home buyer. Any suggestion?
Thank you for the kind feedback! Unfortunately I can’t provide financial advise. I can however tell you that I did purchase in Hobart instead of my hometown of Melbourne 4 years ago :)
Great vid man. I've been taking your tips on RE research. I'm wondering, where do you get your data for average income from a given area? Keep up the great work 💪

Same banks will do 15% down with no lmi (st george/ BoM). Some occupations can also do 10 or 5% with no lmi. I'm a CA (accountant) and we were able to buy at 10% with no lmi.
The best explanation of interest only vs principle nd interest. I've been trying to understand what they were
Thank you so much Georga :)
I am a Perth based mortgage broker. I am surprised with the content and knowledge this guy shares is amazing and it does make sense

Great video - I've never liked paying LMI personally, even if it can be technically better on a spreadsheet or you can get in sooner
Thank you Ray,
You and me both! But for first time investors or FHBs, it is definitely a helpful tool :)
