That's one great looking pick gun. I checked it out when Bosnian Bill did a review, and it was out of my price range. Looks like it is worth the price though. I started off with a Chinese snap gun, and then got the Klom EPG. I haven't used mine since I got it. I did use the drill attachment to drill out a stuck key. It's amazing how quickly these EPG's can work. Nice to have as a backup in case your picks weren't working, or there was a time factor involved.
William Mancel thanks for watching buddy :) I'm glad you mentioned that snap gun. I actually have one of those Sparrows "double tap" snap guns I've only used for like 2 day when I first got it. Of course I tried snapping open every lock I owned that day, lol. I'll be doing a video on it in a day or so. 😊👍 Thanks for jogging my memory my friend!
William Mancel why would you use this as a back up tool? As a locksmith, you just want to get in and get out quick, if it doesnt work then go old school.
I just purchased this for my work van. You would be surprised how many rekeys I do for customers where they don’t have the keys. This will save me time
Frosty901 I’ve shown this review to other colleagues. You should be asking for a bonus for sales because they’re likely going to make another 2 purchases not including myself.
Nice! I think they will be very happy with this one. I couldn't in good conscience accept money from the company though. That would make the review a little slanted towards them though, it wouldn't be a fair review. =) I'm just happy helping people find a good product. Thanks for watching!
After Just Now best advice would be to keep it level with the pins and pulse your finger on the tension tool. Not too soft, not too hard on the tension. By sort of pulsing your tension finger you will find that happy-medium. And when you put it all the way into a lock, back it out about 1/8 of inch to avoid just beating on the actuator in the lock. You just want to be hitting pins. Hope this helps buddy, feel free to ask me anything if you need more help.
Just pin tumbler locks. Will not work for lever locks, warded locks, dimple locks or disc detainers.

Interesting review. I saw other ones telling it was not working with security pins. Looks like it's not the case...Thank you God for the daily false set.
It does pretty good with most security pins, I was very surprised. Going into this I said to myself that it would never be able to handle spools etc. But the key is in the tension. Just apply the tension after it hits the pins and it works most of the time. Thanks for watching buddy! =)
here in Germany there is a company called BKS that produces pretty well good quality keys, I find those really hard to pick, does Kronos do the job quicker for this BKS Keys?
I have a BKS lock or two I think. If you want, when I'm sober tonight I can try it and make a video. Email me at jahvey1@gmail.com and ill be sure you get the link my friend.
Im a locksmith and I bought this tool for difficult locks that I run into in the field (locks with security pins)... and so far I can’t pick anything with security pins using this tool. Also I broke all the tips that the tool came with it trying to pick various locks. Obviously I’m doing something wrong. Can someone give me some tips on how to use this tool?
It takes some getting used to that’s for sure. When I first got it I couldn’t use it very well either. And still there are some locks that just seem to fall open for it, while others just wont open no matter how hard I try. Also, yeah..the pick tips that come with it are very brittle and break very easily. I use the Sparrows snap gun tips in mine, they are much stronger. I haven’t managed to break even one Sparrows tip yet. I hope this helps you. 👍😊
PHILL DIXON absolutely true my friend! 😊👍 I just replied to your other comment as well. Sorry it took so long, I don’t usually get phone time at work anymore.
Sort of glad to know it's not just me, I just feel bad that some people think I'm ignoring them when that's not the case at all. I am going back and watching old videos I made and seeing lots of comments I didn't reply to because I never got a notification. I'll just try to get to them all as soon as I can. 👍😊
Nice one Mr Frosty Man.👍🏽 Not really my cuppa tea but seems quite effective on non naughty bucket locks. I just looked up the price...nearly fell over...flipin flip!😲😕✌
Thanks buddy :) Yeah I don't really use electric lock picks either, but it's a neat little toy to have. If I had to pick residential locks all day every day, I'd probably use this though. But I pick locks for fun, so I enjoy my hook picks. 😊👍
Kyle Carter thanks for watching. I did realize that, and it was intentional. It just seemed to work better for me. I am admittedly complete garbage with electric picks and snap guns. 👍😊😁
Yeah, the tips the Kronos comes with seem very brittle, they break for what seems like no reason and they do it very fast. I actually prefer the snap gun tips from Sparrows in it. Thanks for sharing your experience. 👍😊

It opens standard locks incredibly fast. Money well spent buddy. 👍😊
Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the vid. Its helping me not suck so bad with the Kronos.
Definitely an investment to consider if you are locksmith or just play one on TV!
Haha! 🤣😊
Any tips on how to use this device? Dos and don'ts? Thank you!

Hey, thank you for your reply! Will try to keep that in mind. Keep up the great work and thanks again.
After Just Now you're welcome buddy! Best of luck, and happy holidays. 😊👍
Thanks man for this use

What pin is suggested for lock picking

Can it work on wafer locks?
Nice review frosty my friend very cool😎😎😎👍😊😊😊
Thanks my friend! I'm just now seeing this, I'm not getting a LOT of my RUclips notifications for some reason, lol
Frosty901 it does it to me buddy👍👍👍😊😎

Frosty901 just let no at the start of ur vid your having problems 👍👍😎😊
Will this work on a kwikset smart key? Just saying since they are a nightmare to pick?
It’s POSSIBLE I suppose, but the way the smartkey wafers are designed, you’d probably just overset everything immediately.
Does it work on universal locks ?
You've put the pick in upside down.
Very keen eye you have sir. =)
Soy de colombia como la puedo comprar graciaas 👍
Will it work on car door locks?
Probably not very well.
Will it open spolepins too ???
Søren yes it will. I’m not very good with electric picks, but a few of these had spools in them.
Werr can i get one
Gettin Money you can buy these at Multipick’s website locate at shop.multipick.com.
I’m also doing a giveaway for a unit very soon. Stay tuned. 😊👍⛄️

Maybe is you used it right side up.... Youre using the bottom of the pick needle... Wowww
Kyle Carter thanks for watching. I did realize that, and it was intentional. It just seemed to work better for me. I am admittedly complete garbage with electric picks and snap guns. 👍😊😁
If it had a voice it could have its own RUclips channel and make us all look lame :)
Hahaha!! =) That would be hilarious. ;)
I was impressed that it opened that damn Tesa te5 so easily. I still can't pick that lock reliably. Lol
I'm not surprised, those things rake open really easily, like the Vachette V5 too, but are really hard to SPP.
you're using it upside down. It's not camera shy, you're not using it correctly
It worked
Ok
Hiram!
This is not as easy as shown in the video. If it can go that way at all.
The tips are absolutely junk. They all broke. The tips from my 10 year old auto are still going strong.

Funktioniert bei nicht, bei einfachen Schlössern. Teuer Elektro Schrott.
Tool Does not work with simple locks. Expensive electric scrap.
