Afternoon Drive Along Paphos Hotel Strip

- Starting at the Eastern end of Geroskipou Beach, we drive up the Hotel Strip, saying hello to numerous sites along the way. So come and see the improvements they are doing to Rikkos Beach parking area, and see for yourself how much seaweed there is near St Nicholas Chapel. Don't worry though, it happens every year and is taken away once the winter storms subside.

►Help For Travellers
If you are travelling around Paphos and would like some hints about where to go, take a look at our eBook Travel Guides.
▬ The Kathikas - Panagia Loop ▬
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.

▬ Paphos Coast To Coast ▬
Explore traditional villages, visit a shipwreck and some ancient sea caves, and have a swim or a paddle in some of the lovely beaches. And once you have done it, do it again in reverse, to finish it off with some spectacular sunsets.

▬ Kato and Pano Pyrgos ▬
Do you want to see a part of Cyprus that is loved by the locals but virtually unkown to international tourists? Then let me take you on a trip to Kato and Pano Pyrgos. Located on the North Coast of Cyprus, and on the coast road from Polis and Pomos, these two villages are packed full of charm and some lovely beaches. Throw in some abandoned villages and beautiful countryside, and you have all the makings of a fantastic day out. In this guide we show you how to get there from Paphos and Polis, before taking you on a tour of the area itself

▬ The North Paphos Coast ▬
The North Coast of Paphos is one of Cyprus' hidden gems. In this, our fourth Cyprus Road Trip eBook, we explore the area between Polis and Pachyammos. This includes the delightful Pomos Harbour, the mysterious Dragon Cave Beach, and the ancient Gialia Monastery. Not to mention numerous villages, churches and reservoirs. So come with us and experience a slice of authentic Cyprus life.

▬ Ayia Napa, Protaras and Paralimni ▬
The East of Cyprus is famous for its sandy beaches and party lifestyle, but there is so much more to it than that. In this road trip we take you around Ayia Napa, Protaras and Paralimni. We also visit Cape Greco and numerous beaches along the way, as well as other interesting attractions. We even have time to take in the new Marina. The route is circular, beginning and ending at the Sculpture Park in Ayia Napa. If you are based in Protaras or Paralimni you can start in those towns and jump to the appropriate point. We do however recommend coming to the Sculpture Park and starting there, as it is best viewed either in the morning or evening.

Looks like another beautiful day in paradise, thanks for sharing Dominic
Lovely
Great drive! Thank you.
Great drive thank-you. 🇨🇾💕
Our pleasure!
The Avanti is wonderful. It Is 4 star. Brilliant hotel and brilliant staff been going there for many years
👍 Good one Dominic.
My favourite beach 😎👍🏼
Which one?
The best one 👍🏼😁😎🤣🤣
Those double yellow lines on Poseidonos Avenue look newly painted, not that it stops people parking on the central reservation. 😀
St. Nicholas church is lovely inside and well worth a visit.
Funnier still are the bollards by the Sea Front. They have had to put another set up in front of the first lot because people still park there.
Hi Dominic first time visiting paphos this year staying at kissos hotel for a wedding nearby. Can you tell me if there is anything around. Im worried as I’ve been told it’s along way from anywhere. 😢
Hi, Kissos is next to the Elysium and Kefalos Beach Holiday Village. It is also next to Tomb of the Kings, and Tomb of the Kings Road. There are a lot of restaurants and bars on that road. You are about a 20-30 minute walk from Paphos Harbour, and about the same distance to the Old Town. There are regular buses if you want to go further afield, or you can hire a car.
I really appreciate your reply 😊 and thank you for the information. I don’t know anyone that has been before. Luckily the wedding is at Kefalos beach village and I didn’t realise it was that close.
@@lynnbarry2724 if you watch the driving film we do tomorrow evening I mention you as we drive down Tomb of the Kings Road along the way.
