- Join me for a walk along the Protaras Cyprus strip then back along the coast. Looking at the yianna maria restaurant, the Golden star horel, the blue ivy hotel and suites, Molti restaurant, Happy days restaurant, Sunrise garden hotel, Chrystella hotel and the Maistrali Hotel

Decided to travel back a few years and reminisce tonight guys.Interesting to see how much things have changed in just a short space of time .Have watched it before but it’s great to see it again .I always watch every video at least twice .Some are well into double figures now ! 😂😂❤

So lovely to see our favourite location in Protaras. We had our wedding at Elias Gardens in 2012 and reception in the wonderful Yianna Marie hotel. We go there most years for annual holiday and missing it so. Thank you for showing us around and bring back memories. Mike & Sand Burt

A great trip! I spent two great weeks at Chrystalla in summer 2019
In January 2020, my son and I took a similar walk around Protaras.

Enjoyable insight into some of the strip and prom stroll,have noticed there is a new hotel adjacent to the Odessa where we are due to stay could you possibly give us an update on the Odessa please we would be most greatful.
Great video, George! Thank you for visiting our favorite places. I have been visiting Cyprus for 10 years, and Protaras is the first city I have visited and I like to return to. In Maistrali hotel, alas, the picture is sad(. I don't think they'll be able to open up. Have a nice day!

I’ve been to Protaras 3 times and loved being there each time. Would recommend Capo Bay and Blue Ivy Hotels.
Nice family friendly beaches.
Love the Capo Bay, we have had our trip there cancelled two years on the trot. Will check out the Blue Ivy. Thanks for watching.

Is karas apartments still open on Kennedy Ave, the Ozone bar was also in this building, Owen and Mary ran the bar may have moved nearer Malama resort .

@@CodingAbroad the whole lifestyle here is better 99 % of time. Some things are frustrating but the good definitely outweighs bad for us.

I prefer old traditional tavernas opposite white cube premises (they are everywhere in the maybe world)
There are many traditional restaurants on the strip and in the local villages.

Why no one on the street?
Its normally very quiet the resort closes for winter but also this year we are in lockdown. Thanks for watching.
The all hotels look like same -white cubes with glass balconies.... No tradition, no fantasies....
No if you want traditional you need to go to villages or mountains. Tourist resorts are for what the tourists want.
