Though losing Karas is absolutely terrible, I do really like the new emphasis placed onto Hammer Fall Break in combos. Very flashy and fun to pull off. Makes moving Pot feel like piloting a massive train.
Agreed. Before they looked rather clumsy, but now it looks like a proper forward step. I don't know how it feels to play, but to watch, it actually feels like an actual action you want, and not like a Brawl trip
After practicing the new routes, I love the 6HS CH combos.... just sucks I'll rarely ever do theses in real games cos I don't really get CH 6HS's. Any tips on fishing it out? I was thinking it could be done at max range, but the further out you are, the more strict the pickup timing seems to be after the HFB.
You can frametrap with c.S. so you can do c.S > 6HS. Of course you must have conditioned them with maybe c.S walk forward c.S. anything really, just so they start thinking they can press after c.S. and then you can sneak in 6HS .

I'll do a tutorial on it soon but I'll try to explain for now. So what I'm doing is canceling hammerfall break to super. So when I do hammerfall, instead of inputing just P for the break. I input 6246 HS + P... (HS + P at the same time as one input)
I'm not sure what tap hammerfall is but kara difficulty varied for me. The easiest was kara burster. Kara garuda was pretty difficult to do consistently. And then kara bmf combos were also hard. This might be subjective because i think it was easier to land with a hitbox and I use a ps controller
the kara input is alot freakier and less intuitive for sure. Especially since you have to so 214 for bmf, then do 6k~p. I couldn't find any guides personally to do the input at all, so I still have no idea how it's done.
So has anyone found any touch-of-deaths on Millia/Chipp yet? It feels like that should be possible based on this video. I will miss karas and I totally understand folks who quit over it--but I'm at least going to give this another try. I see a lot of things I like.
If you take the one at 1:59 and then follow it up with Giganter > 6H > Heavenly Pot Buster you do 430 damage to Chipp. I'm not sure if there's a way to do it with 50 meter and no RISC (I'm not saying there's not, I'm just not aware of one), but all it takes is one blocked 5P and you can replace the HPB with Heat Knuckle and kill with 50 meter.
It's so wild that what replaced kbMF as a mid combo move is 6H, of all things.

mfw they remove karas for being too hard but now all his combos revolve around fast cancelling hfb mid combo which is much harder
At least HFB cancel looks like a proper cancel not and not like a Brawl slip

i find tap hammerfall easier but that might just be because i labbed it more, idk
Tap hammerfall is pretty easy, more than kara since it has an easier timing, all you gotta remember is to always be charging
