- I built this pen plotter based off a design from another youtube channel.

Very nice project! It's indeed a candidate for making a vinyl cutter.
Excellent! This is probably the only non-lethargic plotter on the net.
my hands were sweating all the time from thinking that the paper sheet is going to slip at any moment
Awesome. Can't wait to see the mouse working!
WOW! Amazing creativity
Nice project indeed. Sir what software did you use to draw and send your drawing to the machine?.
Hello, good video can you make a video explaining how to do the assembly please 😅

You’re a genius !
This is amazing! Please stay out of my lobbies when you get that bot working though 😂
Connect it to a mouse and stockfish so it can play chess
Yes! I want to do that
I would imagine it would be limited to smaller sizes. I built one that has a huge 762mm x 508mm writing area actually a little bigger than that. But with paper that big being moved back and forth you will lose accuracy surely.
Yes with rubber rollers, not with the sandpaper rollers.
Do you have a tutorial?
That's pretty pretty good.
Could you please provide me more information about the electronic part?
You have the 3d parts file
Can you please post a video on the GRBL setup?
The downloads for STEP and Solidworks are faulty, are you able to check them?
hello, and i want to make this pen plotter, what kind of electronics do you use, arduino uno, nano, maybe you can share the information, maybe the diagram can show what programs you use for G code
Please make a video how to assamble and setup.
i see you changed the papper roller, is it stable for keeping paper straight?
sorry im late to see iv project second plotter, im just finnished printing first version :(
It's the iv project one, but has a timing belt glied around it!
@@makermandan i know, he build another one before this version.
im build bigger version based his pervious design, a round 170cm to accommodate wide fabrics.
but the feeder are not stable for fabrics, sliping everywhere
@@rama3njoy hmm, I haven't built his pervious version. I think fabrics would be hard to use because they aren't stiff.
do you think that this project could be scaled down? I mean to draw in tiny papers
Probably. My question is: why would you want it to be compact?
@@makermandan my idea is to quickly draw tiny portraits taken with a camera (propably in a raspberry pi) and some code to make them Black and white
EDIT: I misunderstood the question the first time I read
@@makermandan it has to be compact and also the portraits have to be small.
Maybe you can place / fix a smaller paper on the big one. Like a frame or something
How do we determine or set the starting position for drawing? What if I want it to draw on a small paper?
This is just a guess, but I have a 3D printer and I'm pretty sure it would work similarly. However, for this you can you can probably manually set your home point. For a smaller paper you would need a way for the paper to move still, so I feel I quick fix would be to use some painter tape and stick your small paper to a regular size paper, and do it that way.
@@DipMaster20 Thank you
What's the size of the shaft couplers?
Can I get circuit diagram for this please
Are you able to make one for me? Please let me know
Unfortunately no. I’m too busy
The robot can now play aimlabs: ruclips.net/video/Jw3o1UO6dfc/видео.html. Don't forget to subscribe to see more fun projects.
there is no software shown ?
How much time it will take to write a page completely?
Do you mean filling a page with ink so its black? probably a long time.
@@makermandan and how much time it has taken to art this picture
Hello! Where is the Arduino Code? ;(
please where is schematic and code?
How much total in parts?
Is it available in India .... price please
It depends. If you have a 3D printer and access to a hardware store, it would cost around $100 dollars to build. I don't plan on selling it if thats what your asking. Hope this helps.
how can i use servo insted of stepper
For which axis? I dont think you can use a servo for the x or y. Look at IV projects channel, he has an old version that uses a servo for the z axis
Is it A4 or A3 size?
It’s American paper, so it’s 8.5x11 (inches)
@@makermandan Thank you. Now I understand that the width of the table is 8.5 in, but the length is most likely not limited by 11 in. You can probably print 8.5x24 or so.
If it could control the mouse, it could definitely play fall guys better than you.
wdym I won twice on stream lol.
@@makermandan yeah
but why control mouse ? . you could use python code to mimic mouse movement .
