Damn. I"m sitting here preparing my review/analysis and this drops. What the hell can I say that is not already said in this interview!?! Seriously great conversation.
I appreciate the support. E L U C I D is a genius, I expect he will receive the love he deserves before it’s all said and done. Thanks for tuning in 🙏🏽
Finally got my hands on that episode like a week ago, this is beyond dope, Elucid's train of thought, sources of inspiration and details that he picks up in music is what really strikes me the most. Thank you for this conversation and never give up what you do, cause content that you make is really unique
I listen to this album daily along with RiCHAXXHaitian those two definitely fighting for first place in my album of the year. Just to see how much recognition these to bodies of work are getting is just a joy for me. I love these to artist with a passion and I just am so proud of my self know they exist bc a lot of people that need to know these mediums exist.
Whenever i listen to elucids solo work i feel like i have to fully pay attention and re listen again and again . With Woods i can grab on to the common language of pitch black humor you gain from being raised in southern africa and having a keen understaning of the political forces that move shit around these parts. But elucid demabds that i sit my ass down and really grasp at every word. Reminds me of what it felt like reading english books when i could barely speak it
That makes a lot of sense. E L U C I D's music has this way of burrowing into my psyche with repeated listens, that very few artists accomplish. It always tends to just resonate more and more with time
Haven't watched it yet, but I'm about to do that for sure. Do you take suggestions from subscribers? If, so it would be interesting to see 454 or YL and Zoomo on your podcast, i haven't seen a lot of recorded interviews with RRR on youtube and these guys definitely deserve more shine
I definitely take suggestions! I'm a fan of all of those guys, so would I'd certainly be open to having them on. Let me know what you think of the episode when you finish!!
Is there a way I would be able to contact you through DM? I'm doing a research project on rap & linguistics and I would love if you could guide me through some artists' careers and find reputable information regarding their work.

XOLO is arguably the most interesting song I’ve heard a while.
Yeah structurally it's just so ambitious... can't imagine how hard it must be to accelerate your flow up mid-verse like that
Come back to Toronto E L U C I D!
If we spread the word and run up his numbers enough, maybe our wish will be granted... one can only dream, I NEED to hear this album live goddamn
