The common app has a limit of 20 schools and most prestiqous schools don't have there own admission application outside of the common app, the only one that comes to mind is MIT
I should have brought this up in the video. Thanks for brining this up. Most students who are applying to an ultra-high number of schools (like 100!) are also using the Coalition App. Many elite colleges (including 5 Ivies, Stanford, etc.) will allow applicants to apply through either the Common App or Coalition App, and the Coalition App has no limit on schools. There are also several schools that have their own systems (in addition to MIT, which you mentioned, Georgetown and the UCs come to mind)
15 sounds like a reasonable number, though if you don't have specific needs and want to maximize your chances, you might consider more. I have helped hundreds of students write college application essays. My rates are not cheap, but if you're interested in working with me, you can inquire through the contact form on my website ivyleaguementorsprep.com. I'm also thinking about hosting a competition on this channel and giving the winner(s) a free essay critique. Would anyone be interested in that?
They probably dont have to write 100 essays because systems like the Common App, Coalition App, and UC App make it easy to apply to multiple schools with the same essays. Still, it's a ton of work. I do suggest applying to more than the conventional 5-15 if you want to maximize your chances, but 100 seems excessive

please make a video about how to waive application fee for international students
I think a lot of my viewers would be interested in that, so I will look into it. Thanks for the suggestion!
I might apply to 15 colleges. It depends on what score I would get on the SAT. By the way, do you also check applications and essays?
