1:00 mark, house in the middle was my house 2 years ago. Wanted to point out it had two power line poles in that backyard that are now missing. So praying where ever they landed, didn’t hurt anyone.
People say Australia is scary but our tornadoes are very rarely big enough to damage anything and the only bears and cougars we've got are at the bar.
I find tiny little venomous monsters scarier than loud animals that you can put down with a gun (we have plenty of those here)
You guys have the Inland Taipan tho lol
Yeah I prefer seeing what’s gonna kill me
I live in San Francisco, CA and we had a tourist from AU ask online where he could see a bear (our official state animal), but because it's San Francisco, I ASSumed (incorrectly) he was trying to find a hairy gay man because he'd never seen one before. Ugh, I was so wrong. He wanted to see a real live BEAR. lol
I was both embarrassed (that I has assumed before asking), but also dismayed that in a major US city he thought we just had wild bears roaming around. lol
I mean, sure, we have wild coyotes, and the rare mountain lion sitting (and I do mean VERY rare), but those animals are mostly out in the wilderness and national parks. lol
Having spent a month in AU driving from Sydney over to Brisbane, flying from Brisbane up to Cairns, then flying from Cairns over to Darwin, and driving from Darwin down to Katherine, Alice Springs, and on down to Victoria, out to Warnambool, driving the Great Ocean Road back to Melbourne, I'm thinking the US is more dangerous, as well.
...but we also have bears and cougars at the bars here, so be forewarned should you ever visit. lol
You do have some impressive thunder and lightning storms as we do in Texas, and your wildfires are world-famous, kind of like ours in California.
Hands down, you guys have the coolest, most unusual animals, though.
"Naw, yeah, naw."
Love ya guys. ;p
This is the first Tornado video of a tornado from this year. Thank you for the quick upload!
Stay safe an happy trails!
This was probably the closes I have been to a tornado in a while! It was heading right for me!
God bless the people in Norman and the state of oklahoma
Our weather is so scary,
Great footage Maxwell
Awesome Tornado 🌪 video 👍👍👍👍👍
You rock max! I scored from my porch lol
dang, it seems 2023 season is starting out active.
Right don’t even wana imagine what the spring and summer months gona bring smh
I know, here in NJ we had an EF-2 hit Mercer country on 2/22/2023 and that last time that happened was back in 1999.
Nice job man, seems like you never miss.
Oklahoma has no fatalities reported so far. About a dozen weather related injuries at hospitals. Broken things can be fixed, lives can't. Glad to hear everyone is okay for the most part, sorry to those of you who have lost a home. Praying for y'all from Owasso OK!
There has been 1 reported fatality
@@aidendaniels4721 ah damn, that's sad to hear. Sounded like we were in the clear. I'll keep praying for everyone effected
@@Laat-Dovah-Kiin Especially this early in the season. We are switching to a el nino year. Thats what happened in 2013 😬
@@aidendaniels4721 it's going to get rough than eh?
Tornado was supposed to go through my area according to the forecast but i guess the direction changed a bit. I never even heard a strong wind.
Great footage Max!
Fantastic capture as always! Talk about a needle in a haystack!
Do you have a time stamp for when you saw that little funnel? It might be what Vince Weilti drove through tonight! It looks like it’s a possibility!
Between 9:10 and 9:15pm Central
@@MaxOlsonChasing Thanks I’ll go rewatch his stream… Nikki saved the clip so they may post it as a short or just a separate video, thanks! : ) it was a stressfully exciting night! Just a little too scary at the time!
Thanks for the video!
Apartment I lived in last year was a couple hundred yards from the traffic light you drove past at 0:13. Scary stuff
Glad you’re safe and didn’t lose your apartment.
"Spring already? Checks calendar. 😐
That's crazy thats happening in February
Nice work Max!!
Really freaking cool, man. Especially since QLCS tornadoes are, in my opinion, the hardest to document. Great stuff!
I wish the best for those who've had their homes and businesses torn asunder. May you all be able to recover as quickly as humanly possible, and may your insurance claims adjuster be a decent human being.
Ironically enough, my day job is actually working as an independent insurance appraiser! I'm back out in the damage today writing damage estimates on vehicles, most of them have been total losses thus far.
I survived the tornados it was so close
Insane tornado. Hopefully everybody that was in the path was ok. Must've been scary.
Bro I’m in yukon and there legit was a funnel right above us and literally almost ripped the roof of our barn off
First capture of that tornado, or any that might have happened, that I have seen from last night. Good job! Prayers for the folks that experienced damage and just the shear fear of that storm.
I live in Oklahoma it was really scary yesterday it was called the Norman tornado and I live in Norman we were in the hall we don’t have a tornado shelter but my house It’s OK but I was really scared
Hey that first small funnel,
Was that south Norman storm or west of okc??
The funnel was west of OKC, the damage was from the Norman tornado
Wow
You really should livestream your chases and one of the chasers on Ryan Hall's streams
I heard of this but didn’t see it in full
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Humans are like fleas on a dog, mother Earth can shake us off at anytime.
When someone is giddy over a tornado, knowing houses and lives are at stake 🙄
OKC 2023
Why would people want to live where tornadoes are frequent??? Glad I live down south. I rather take my chances with hurricanes.
Why in the hell would people want to chase tornadoes? You have to be insane to chase something that can kill you in an instant. Loose screws
Who cares looks good on them👍
One minute and 22 sec video why in the he'll yall will post a video like that is it just to get views ?
Nobody wants to watch a 9 hour storm chase only to get 30 seconds of actual tornado. He cut straight to the footage of the actual tornado, and the aftermath, with no filler or hours of driving.
claps as people can lose their lifes
You guys are clapping in happiness to see it and I would just be like:
BYE!
