    Just upgraded to SO7 and used the stem separated. Thx for demonstrating the "consolidated" portion. I didn't find anyone explaining that. 😅 Cheers!

    Great feature. The new features in this version of S1 are clearly geared to beat makers and producers.

      Yes, and there are people who are getting upset about it, which I do not understand. Because for the last several years the updates have been geared more for mixing, songwriting, and workflow enhancements.

      @@quantaaudio exactly. The last few versions have been great for my as I do a lot of orchestral programming (articulation switching, notation etc), what the snobs call "real music". I love making beats as well (in fact I have an old MPC), so these new features are welcome too.

    Great video, I have an issue, after the stems separation process, the tracks come back blank, I restarted my computer 5 times however, it didn’t fix the problem, any suggestions? Thanks!!!

    When I use the stem separation function, it just gives me empty tracks... and even the original track is muted (Silent)

      me too. Do you have only one line of sound waves or two.? I only have one...could that be the reason. You posted this almost a week ago with no reply...hmmm?

    I brought in a MP3 file and it had just one line of sound waves.Yours has two..How does just one line effect the stem separation?I couldn't get it to separate with just one line of sound waves...hmmmm?

      @quantaaudio  3 месяца назад +1

      Bitwig is great, but there are just some things that I decided I couldn't get in to. Like the browser and the tiny instruments/effects in the device panel - among other things.

    Its pretty good but the bass needs work

    • @quantaaudio
      @quantaaudio  3 месяца назад +1

      I agree. I think it all still needs work to be honest. There are many artifacts - but at the same time it's pretty amazing. I also think the quality will vary depending on the material you are working with.

    too many artifacts, bad algorithm. there are free stem split solutions which sounds better.

    • @Illiyinmusic

      Yeah you can remove the artifacts for the most part with something like Rx, and just do everything in studio one. Or if you're just mixing a raw session someone sent you once everything's playing together and mixed I wonder if you'd hear them. Like saying an old project or live band performance from FOH
