Thank you for this finishing tutorial! I find finishing very intimidating, but you definitely made it look easy and fun! Can't wait to get my Paisley and Polka Dot order for those framing stands!
Thanks for the finishing tutorial! The spring bunny finish is absolutely gorgeous! I can’t wait to order this pattern and stitch it and finish it the same way!!
Hi Erin Elizabeth, oh your finishes are awesome u make it look so easy and u do such a wonderful job, thank u for sharing. My hubby is from Toronto Canada he moved here to California in 1978 his family bought farmland here and became farmers. Have a great weekend. 🩷🪡🧵
I really like the oval designs. I have trouble adding trim and watching this made me realize how much easier it would be with a smaller glue gun. I’m going to see if my Michael’s has this cordless one. Thanks for another great video! ❤
Loved the tutorial. I finish my own stitches as well, but I LOVE to watch others with their tips and tricks. I think I need to get that cordless glue gun stat! Love the stitches and finishes. Thank you for all the inspiration.
Thank you for showing your finishes! It takes me forever to take the finishing plunge! I have so many around over the years! ❤ beautiful work, and i love the bunny finish.
What a great finishing tutorial - so many options and valuable information. The thought of cutting a circle or oval out of mat board is daunting. I really like that Paisleys and Polka Dots offers the wood circles and ovals separately. Thank you for sharing the magnets and metal pieces in your Amazon storefront. I loved that you showed that these pieces would look beautiful in a frame as well.
Thanks for showing us how simple finishing can be for small projects. Now willing to practice with small ones in the hopes that I get brave enough to maybe try some larger ones. Love your new designs, love the spring bunny but have to finish the ones I got from Nashville Market first.
Your Spring designs are absolutely perfect, you have such an amazing design style❣️🥰 Love them + your finishing touches❣️🥰 Simply fabulous❣️🥰 Thank you so much for sharing❣️🥰
Love your new patterns!!! I just bought Home Tweet Home, so I am thrilled to know that I will be able to change the patterns. Love, love the tutorial. I am pretty new to cross stitching and love to see how to finish our own things as I am not able to afford to pay someone to finish mine. I am working on your Spring tier tray now. It is so pretty. Sometime can you have a video on how you start and finish the different colors when there are so many colors. Once again, great tutorial!!!!!
Such a great idea to finish the back. I never thought about lacing it, I always just hot glue it. I’m going to give it a try next time. I love the cordless hot glue gun!!!!
Thank you for the tutorial. I am happy that you are doing these. Cross stitching has changed over the years. Its so nice to have a reminder or new tips on things that are available to the stitching community. Question for you when stitching with fancy floss do you stitch each cross stitch individually or can you do a row at a once?
Technically the proper way is one X at a time with fancy floss, however I know many people that will do row stitching. It really depends how much variegation your thread has and how much of it you want to see.
Love your finishing tutorial for these new pieces! You demonstrated & explained it so well .. not as leary to try my own hand at finishing now. So thank you very much for sharing your tips & technique! I do have a question about using a glue gun. Does it matter for the temperature ... using a hot glue gun vs. a low temp glue gun when working on the finishing? I do love that cordless gun you were using. I can see where it could be a game changer .. as the cord does get in the way at times. Thanks again! 😊
I don’t think it really matters the temperature too much, I’d say a high temp probably gives you more time to work with it, I’d think the lower temp would setup quicker but you could just move in smaller sections at a time
What a fantastic finishing tutorial video ❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing this tutorial with us … you did a fabulous job … 😊❤ Dena
Fabulous finish idea thank you Erin,
Love your two projects and finishes!😊
Cute patterns and wonderful demonstration of finishing them.
This was well done! Thank you!
Adding a loop to start that gathering is new for me. Love it. Thank you. Once it’s gathered, I would tape the edges down in back.

Hi Erin! Lovely to see you again so soon! Love it when I see your videos pop up! ❤
I personally would love to see you do more birds like the birds and blossoms pattern, I just love how lifelike you made your Chickadees.
Oh thank you!😊

This was such a helpful tutorial! Thanks so much!
Glad it was helpful!
Great tutorial. I just bought the round finishing piece, so this is super helpful. Your aggressive rickrack cracked me up?

Can’t wait to start my Birds and Blossom stitch. Your finishes are beautiful. May I ask what color paint did you use on the board?
It was a white chalk spray paint😊
Such a fantastic tutorial! I will have to try your finishing technique. Do you have a stand up finishing technique for your Cat Tier? TFS.
I can do a video for that yes!
Will you be doing any fall or Christmas patterns for these? I’d love to change out all year long ❤

Hi! Thanks for all the inspiration. Do you have a link for those big magnets? Thanks!
They are in my Amazon shop that is linked in the description box 😊
Is there a reason you glued the 2nd piece, instead of using the string?
The second backer with fabric? I did because it doesn’t have to be as precise with placement like the stitch does. Hot glue is generally my go to 😊
Where did you get the spools that you put your trim on?
It came on the spool from Winner or Marshalls 😊
