By watching this again, I noticed that Claire Redfield started off as a strong character and was confident in herself. When she met Steve Burnside, she was a badass then. When Claire and Steve was at the computer room where Chris was being surveillanced by Umbrella, when Claire was mentioning about Chris, I noticed that Steve was holding his head, trying to make sense of what happened in his situation. He was causing trouble for Claire on the island. When Steve shot his dad, I noticed that Claire was consoling him and let him rest after his loss. When they escaped off of the island, I noticed that Steve actually took responsibility for his actions and apologized to Claire. And noticed how when they were escaping the island, Steve was having feelings for Claire and Claire seemed pretty happy. And in the Antarctica, they were both protecting each other. When Steve failed in protecting Claire he promised her that he will protect her next time during the Nosferatu battle. When they were trying to escape the Antarctica, Claire Redfield was at her happiest by escaping with Steve Burnside, not with Chris. When Steve mutated into a monster, trying to get Claire by hitting the gate, noticed how Claire looked like she was going to cry. Then when Steve died to protect Claire, noticed how she took Steve's hand and put her hand on Steve's hand and after he confesses his love to her and dies, Claire slows drops her hand, trying to process what happened. Steve was actually the only character that Claire Redfield cried for in the franchise. Steve's death broke her so bad, it traumatized her in future movies and games. And when Chris reunited with Claire at the end, she was glad Chris made it. When Alexia turned around during the end towards Chris and Claire, Claire is holding her chest in fear. Then when Chris said he'll take care of Alexia, she says to Chris: Don't die on me. She didn't want Chris to die as well as Steve. When Wesker mentions Steve, she gets a bit of fight back to protect Steve, but Chris insisted that he would take care of Wesker. While Chris was fighting Wesker, Claire was praying for Chris to make it out alive and worried about him. When Chris lands on the airship and Chris mentions about keeping his promises, noticed how Claire forces a smile and chuckle. And Claire Redfield is one of those characters who likes promises. And she begs for Chris to not leave her alone again with her hand hesitantly touches Chris's arm, Chris says no because he has to stop Umbrella, Claire looks like she's about to cry behind Chris in that shot. And as she flies with Chris, I learned that she had a nightmare about Steve. And this is honestly Allyson Court's best performance as Claire. Her acting with an American accent was really great. And you captured Claire Redfield's story here from strong to broken really well, Coldshade. Good job on this.
Wow, so much text here) Well, I just did what I actually do in other vids - keep cgi and combine them with some gameplay. All the credits goes to storytellers and Alyson of course. Too bad they changed her voice acting in the last Death Island movie to Panisello from non canon remakes, but at the same time they kept Matthew Mercer from RE6.
@Coldshade well, I noticed these things about Claire Redfield in Code Veronica X with her actions and body language after a RUclipsr told me about Claire Redfield's trauma in the original timeline and I saw their videos about it. So I thought I rewatch your Resident Evil movies again in chronological order to see these things and the other characters' trauma, too. And I'm glad you do these things in your videos to keep faithful to the canon. Your Resident Evil movies are by far the best ones to watch. I'm glad I came across your movies. I appreciate your movies. And I agree. And the interesting thing that the RUclipsr that noticed Claire's psychology, in Degeneration, Revelations 2 and Death Island when Claire Redfield is around, there's lots of Code Veronica X references, which I didn't know at the time. It's actually cool.
@Coldshade And I wanted to put these details in this thread for people who didn't catch or notice these things in Code Veronica X. The point of this story in Code Veronica X that people don't understand about it is supposed to be like the Titanic story and the tragedy of Steve and Claire's story. Which I found interesting about this game/movie. This is one of my favourite stories of Resident Evil. It was when I was growing up. The story is also about family related sorrow that certain characters had.
Added english subtitles
Bless
Lol dude almost killed them cause he was to busy looking at Clairs cheeks. 😂😂
I swear this was so funny I choked on my drink while watching 😂
Thank you, this was just what I was looking to l for, a condensed playthrough with all the cut scenes. I just wanted to get the whole story.
Nice! Then be sure to check out other RE movies as well, since they were all made in similar
Thank you for doing this ❤️🤘
Thank you for the subtitles! Cause I'm Deaf without subtitles long time years ago. 😊
Thanks for making this!
Alexia? 🤯🤯🤯
Oh... so this series is Kingdom Hearts.
If they remake this they gotta improve Claire’s dialogue
I think Alyson Court brought us one of the best voice acting in RE series
@@Coldshade Her voice is good , but the written dialogue needs an upgrade:
The sexual tension between Claire and Chris…
They’re siblings 🥲 😟
Are you thinking of remaking this movie with Darkside Chronicles gameplay?
Not likely

Yeah, especially that Steve's prototype is DiCaprio)
@@Coldshade indeed. It was.
More better than playing that worthless game. Thanks!
Worthless?? Hmm, it is one of the best in the series. But anyway, to each his own))
