if you find a GPS "missing" (standing over the location on the map but don't see the blinking examine thing) walk off to a different location (so you don't see the GPS ) do a manual save (make a new save point). Exit game completely and restart game, load your save point. It should show up when you return to the spot where its supposed to be at.

If you are watching this guide while you are playing the game, the locations should be obvious when you get there. He is just demonstrating the specific spots, there's no need for showing them on the map. If you are going for 100% completion, then you must have raided the Tomb of the Unworthy and got the treasure map. In that case, all GPS caches are shown on your own map.
To find a particular GPS cache, click it on your map then click "Toggle Local Waypoint", then activate survival instinct, you should be able to see a blue beam of light right above that cache.
3:44 "Continue until you come to small pass". What do you mean continue? Continue where? You were last standing on an isolated mountain outcrop. Now you're 'continuing' to a small pass?! How did you get there man? You have one job!
Useful but not quite. You should had showed on the map as to where the cache's are located. If your survivor is up you get "?'s" on the map for the cache's, and I only need 1 more for this zone which is by some water.
Jesus....I thought I got #12 when I was first there, but somehow it didn't pick it up, and now I can't figure out how to get back there. And that is the ONLY thing I am missing for a 100% on every area! Grrrrrrrrrrr
Got it, get to the tomb with wind (not the one at the waterfall) while looking at it turn right. There are three "islands" one with a statue one normal and one with a shack on top of it. Go to the one with the shack, there should be rope that will take you to location of those caches.
whenever i go to one at 2:00 there's nothing for me to grab. It's shows up on my map and i can waypoint it, but when i go there it's nothing. What do i do?
Would it have been too much to ask to get map locations at your starting points? This guide is a huge pain in the dick if you've already passed this point in the story.
Same here. I think it's a glitch. Some of the gps caches seem to disappear if you don't get them during the first playthrough. (before you go through all the other areas and then return to the mountain village) LAME!!

It is just after the part in the story where you get the Shotgun. I believe the camp called the "Mountain Decent Base Camp"
