I've played it before and it says by any means necessary, I've had my target die to vamp (They where gf) and I had no part in my target dying and still won, so I'm guessing as long as they die your fine Plus I don't think your target changes as they just need to be eliminated The more you stay home the different clues you get usually in the order of Odd or even First letter Outfit Ect. (Basing this on what I learnt when I played so it may be different)

Maybe, It may just have to be you have to kill them in ranked as usually that's the biggest difference In ranked you used to have to vote your target (as executioner) if they get killed you loose pretty much, in casual you can afford to have your target killed rather to voted as you will still get the win so it could just be similar to that in a sense
It seems like the devs really dont care about balancing :/ currently blackmailer and puppeteer are so bad and they are adding random roles with unfun abilities.

W tiger blast content it was interesting to see how you would play with hitman since you usually make good plays with other roles that have guns
