- This is the new Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4, a modernized version of the older legendary Countach and today I’m showing you why it’s one of the coolest cars in the world. The new Lamborghini is inspired by the past but made for the future and it can go from 0-100 kmh in under 3 seconds. This is the NEW Lamborghini Countach.

This was my favorite car when I was young but later learned it didn't actually drive as beautiful as it looked.... Fast forward to this new version and I'm so glad they resurrected Countach, which I should say looks absolutely fabulous (those wheel arches are a thing of beauty)!! Too bad it's a super limited run, but hopefully this time around, the car goes as well as it looks!

This impostor "Countach's" lines are mostly wrong. That gaping black triangle in profile just exemplifies the clumsy design.
Hybrid motors, paddle-shifting and AWD don't belong in a Countach.
Another badly-executed VW business move, is all this is.
Surprised that for someone with over 8 million subscribers...they don't use a wireless microphone. Some of her audio is hard to hear. Love the content...and love the Countach. Can't wait to see one in person. I wonder how many are destined for the United States.

The original Lamborghini Countach was my dream car when I was a child in the 80's.

Around 1977 in the middle of the night, I heard the roar of an engine which was so visceral, that I actually got up and took my car out see if I could find the vehicle. I didn't have to drive far, as my neighborhood is small. The car turned out to be a Lamborghini LP400 (Countach) from the early 1970s. This particular neighbor collected vintage Italian exotics. As it turns out, he had just sold a 1965 Maserati Quattroporta, and purchased the LP400 a short time later. Countachs have always been rare, but to see one in the United States in the 1970s was almost unheard of.
I will never forget the sound of that 12 cylinder engine piercing the night silence. It was so palpable that it was almost spooky.
I can still remember how it sounded more than forty years later.

Simplicity describes the countach in its original design,
and even tho it is the modern version , it is absolutely beautiful and well done.

Love it. I remember the countach from the 70’s and I love the similarities and how they paid homage to the original.
This Countach model is so amazing, the look is so unique, and has a feel from the old model combined with a modern design which is astonishing!

I love ❤ it!! Such an amazing supercar. Love the Sian lights in the rear, and the nostalgic front and side. Only thing I'm not liking is it not being dual clutch. Other then that the v12 naturally aspirated with 800+ hp and that exhaust sounds INCREDIBLE 👌🏻 🔥 !! GREAT JOB LAMBORGHINI!!!

I love it despite many people being underwhelmed, I think it’s an appropriate homage. As far as performance I can where some are disappointed. I prefer the daily driver look of the Huracan and this, I’ve always like the look of Lamborghinis without a rear spoiler.

@Sam Gonnerman, yea & I would've also liked to have popup headlights! One thing that stood out at me tho was when she mentioned the special paint @1:21. I couldn't believe the "spider webbing" SCRATCHES in the paint. That was unbelievable and for a high-dollar exotic. Who has been "cleaning" this car?! One of my daily drivers is 20 yrs old and doesn't have spider-webbing that bad.
Wonderful, love that car, and of course the original! Would be nice to explain specifically how a super capacitor is different from a battery.
Wirhout getting in much detail, capacitors ("super capacitor" is just a marketing term) and batteries both store and release electricity, but they're very different in how they do it and in their uses:
A battery stores energy charging particles in a physical medium while a capacitor stores energy as magnetic fields. Due to this difference a capacitor is much faster storing and releasing energy than a battery, it can be charged in seconds and discharged in an instant, but it's also unusable as long term storage, a battery can mantain its charge for years, a capacitor for minutes. Since in the Countach the electric engine is just a "boost" it makes sense to use a capacitor for its instant kick.

I really love the designof the outside, but I'm a little disappointed with the interior. I think they should have kept it a little more original. For example they should have kept the iconic seats which the old countach had.
