The Beatles were never more on top of their game than their 1964 World Tours. The first 4 countries, Denmark, The Netherlands, Hong Kong and their first stop in Adelaide Australia (June 4 through 13 )had drummer Jimmy Nicol fill in for Ringp who was hospitalized with tonsillitis. John, Paul and George were ecstatic to have Ringo return to the fold. This performance is a Beatles Reunion of sorts as it was Ringo's first appearance with his bandmates in Melbourne on June 15. The band was on fire the remainder of this tour. It carried over to the next leg of their tour of North American (Aug19 through Sept 20). Subsequent tours in 65 and 66 became more of a grind for the band and they never quite reached the performance level of these 1964 show's. The screaming girls made their performances inaudible and their attitude slowly became "What's the point". A very understandable reaction. The studio years were looming on the horizon. Great reaction JAYY!! RNB

"You Can't Do That" was one of John Lennon's favorite songs to play live. He plays the guitar solo in the middle of the song, something that was usually bestowed upon George. It's a shame that the film cameras don't capture John's great solo. John would have liked for "You Can't Do That" to be released as the "A" side of a single, but instead it was delegated to the flip side of "Can't Buy Me Love." "You Can't Do That", with its very loud volume planted the seeds for what was to become 'heavy metal' years later by other bands. Great choice, Jayy!

This was the flip side of the single Can't Buy Me Love in March 1964, You Can't Do That was the song they filmed for Hard Days Night movie, but it was dropped from the film. This video was filmed in Australia ca. June 1964. This is probably one of the best concerts filmed because of the quality. Lennon played the lead guitar solo on this song.

With all due respect, & please know I’m writing this to explain not to be nasty in any way ❤️ this channel was for me to actually go on a journey and have it documented it was not for anybody else. It was supposed to be an experience for myself I think it’s impossible to accommodate viewers because everybody likes different things, so no matter what they will always be people who are not happy with choices I make to my goal since the beginning was to just relax and enjoy my experience. This is not for my viewers my friends, my family this is for myself I got blessed others joined me on this journey but at one point I had no idea anybody would even see my videos. It was purely just for my enjoyment in for something I can come back on and look at. I couldn’t even review the Beatles due to blocks and when I didn’t review the Beatles people were saying I don’t review them enough and now when I’m actually able to review them then I’m reviewing them too much so that’s just an example of saying no matter what I do it’s going to always be dislikes, but these videos take about 30 days just to be uploaded it goes through a dispute so as soon as it gets done with the dispute, I release it right away because I don’t know how long it’ll stay up. I hope this helps and gives you more of an understanding.
