It looks great, I think it would be a little too difficult for me. I would get frustrated. But I love hearing your strategy of how you put it together.
Being English I grew up with Gibsons and they still remain my favourite brand. Love the images and the quality is excellent. The boxes are now square and quite a bit smaller. I bought 11 back with me this summer while visiting family in the UK. All were from charity shops or gifted. Unfortunately bringing so many over means I have to bring them without the boxes but it doesn't bother me too much as the puzzles here in Greece are not to my taste. Love your videos and blogs.
@@thecasualpuzzler As far as I know there are no Greek brands. It's more a case of the puzzles available are on the "old fashioned" side ie oil paintings by famous artists, photos of horses in the sea etc. Just not my cup of tea. However I have recently noticed some more modern ones and even saw a gradient 😄
The technique you used to build this puzzle is perfect for busy images like this map. I have used the same technique for a Shelley Davies image from Schmidt Puzzles and a few Mordillo puzzles as well. If you have a minute, have a look at the YT channel called "Viki Puzzles". She uses that technique for all kinds of images and she is really good at it. I don't know how she does it as she seems to be capable of placing every piece almost exactly where it goes despite not having that much detail on it. I enjoy the openness and generosity you display in your videos. Thanks for sharing a small sliver of your life with us denizens of the web.
Those pieces look really nice, will have to give Gibsons a go. I found myself using the same technique on Eeboo's 'tree of life' puzzle. Such a busy image but so much fun :) I've only recently taken up puzzling and it's helped with my severe anxiety so much, it's my place of zen. Your videos are quite calming too :)
Another brand to add to my to-do list! So many brands…so little time 😂 I just got a similar themed puzzle from Crocodile Creek which is busy and I’m worried it’s going to be tricky. I’ll just have to take it a few pieces at a time like you did. 💜🧩
Your background, and how it’s decorated is always so cool, I just love it

Being from the U.K. it’s really easy to get Gibson jigsaws and they still are one of my favourites because of the retro images they do.
There is nothing stopping anyone from reusing the bag which came from the box if it is opened carefully.

I am glad they reduced their box size. What puzzle brands are in Greece? I don't think I have one!

I could see that technique being helpful with that puzzle. I have that one in my to-do pile and it looks so busy!
You look beautiful Emily! Gibsons is one of my favorite puzzle brands. I like their images and quality. Higly recommend! ❤️
Thank you so much!
I love map puzzles! I like your curly hair.
Thank you! That's just my natural waves.
The missing text was supposed to say $21.99 on Amazon :) ALSO: They have different boxes on their new images which are much smaller.
It looks so great.:-O🙂
Thank you! 😊

I have not tried Crocodile Creek. I'll have to check them out.
