@ So the thermostat in my 2021 Kia is assessable without dropping alternator? I have to replace mine soon. Also draining the coolant is only a maintenance prevention thing, I don’t have to necessarily to complete the job?
@@bayouboy2921 you will make a bigger mess if you don't drain it, because it's all going to dump out at the thermostat. If it gets on the pulleys they may start squeaking.

Do you need to flush the coolant at all or is just draining and refilling it okay?
