    It's been 20 years and 11 days, and I have been binge watching different videos of people's stories like I never have before, I just feel compelled to know what people experienced

      Same, I’m not sure why I’ve become so fascinated (maybe incorrect word choice) by this event, but I’ve been watching/reading about it almost non stop. I was in 2nd grade when the event happened so I obviously wasn’t old enough to comprehend the magnitude of the situation but now that I’m older these stories make me speechless. I can’t begin to imagine what it was like to be there that day. God bless these people.

    Completely amazing and inspiring that right after the 1st tower collapsed there were still personnel arriving at the base of the North Tower helping people evacuate in the middle of all that smoke. Unbelievably brave.

    I adore and cherish all of these stories, and take it very close to my heart and soul ! Because in the end ,it's about human spirit and despite all the negativity in the world ,human spirit is stronger than anything else and can truly overcome any kind of devastation ...we are strong and powerful ,and when we unite, we can move maintains! God bless you, survivors and rip those who perished that day 💜🥺

      @@rameychisum2891 you couldn't be more incorrect. Human spirit is meant to withstand lifetimes of pain and suffering, and the only way out of that is to recognize that compassionate is the best choice; we are meant to learn lessons, lifetime of lessons and until our souls have recognized these lessons ,and learned them, there wont be any compassion around; ego overruled this planet, but there is a way out of it...please educate yourself! Thanks and blessed be

      People don't over come any kind of devastation. And they certainly do not when they were murdered nor the dead nor the families of those murdered and missing The perpetrators where not only not apprehended they proceeded to murder more people. Unite? You can't even respect Ramey Chisum opinion, which more realistic than yours.

      @@66hoodwitch idk why people don’t agree with you and understand what you’re saying is common sense. humans are very resilient. after a few months we forget what physical pain felt like. we forget everything in time. we are still touched by it, but we overcome it. we don’t let ourselves suffer every single day since our lives changed. we don’t sit on our asses and cry. we OVERCOME IT. we PUSH THROUGH IT. that’s what even therapists tell you! the fact they think humans aren’t squishy lil dps characters is crazy. we can get hit and bounce back. people have been paralyzed and told they’d never walk again, but then train themselves to do so and prove them wrong. what did they do you say? they overcame the struggles they were presented with. USE YOUR BRAINS

    • @itstherealkraven
      @itstherealkraven 3 года назад

      @@rameychisum2891 you can mourn, but you don’t need to ferment on it for centuries. by the time 400-500 years pass there would have been many other things to be upset about. the people 500 years from now will not be impacted by this the way we were. not the same way. again that doesn’t mean you can’t overcome it it just means it will always be a part of you. but truthfully we all know life moves on. everyone who has lost someone knows this to be true. time passes, life goes on. you just have to accept what happens and move from there. there is no other choice than that except to roll over and die

    I was in the air when it was happening. So I can never forget two military planes "guiding" us to O'Hare Airport; I didn't understand what they were doing there & I thought they were following us.
    It's the only time military planes have ever accompanied my airplane.
    It felt so strange to have my own military acting almost as if we could be the enemy.

    I was very saddened when the 9/11 Tribute Center closed. Prior to it's closure, my niece and I visited every year to hear the stories of those who were there and survived and/or those who lost loved ones on 9/11. I would be very interested in knowing if there are other organizations that carry on that work and that have survivors sharing their personal stories? So far I have not been able to find anything similar. The stories and the memories are so important. Thank you for recording these and making them available. If anyone can recommend places where we can see and hear live presentations from survivors, please share.

      i was lucky to hear two stories of survivors of the south tower. one had been only 2-3 floors down from where the plane hit and the other was above. i’m not sure how but they found a working elevator and jumped in ignoring their supervisors warnings. they even were pushing people out because the elevator wouldn’t move since it was too much weight. interesting to think there was still something available that went to the top but not everyone was able to save themselves

    This is a superb idea; Oral History sharing this moment in time about 9/11 it's a awesome idea, for me, I believe is just as important as History Book's because these stories don't often get in those same History Book.
    I wonder if Oklahoma ever considered doing a Museum Tribute for Oklahoma City; an possibly get their Oral Stories, of what that Day was like. Why? One may ask...
    I went back to see what was happening in the year of 2001 before the Attacks just random bits of information because literally I forgot all of everything that had occurred 2001.
    Looking up on the year of 2001, by happen stance came across article's on Oklahoma, City Bombing an The Execution of Timothy McVeigh June 11, 2001.
    So one Evil got put down an another evil almost on the heels of His Attack from April 19, 1995 takes place.
