I saw the trailer for this movie and was genuinely excited for it, and it in no way disappointed me. The LSD scene where they're trying to get over the wall had me crying laughing!
Whenever the question of favorite movies comes up, I always like to ask what their favorite movie is RIGHT NOW. What movie they are currently obsessed with. That usually keeps the subject from getting stale.
This movie is literally just Nick Cage and Pedro Pascal hanging out and it’s literally so freaking good!! Also u r looking great today thank u mama Kim lol
Yessss! I love me some Nic Cage. :) You should do a Cage-a-thon. Raising Arizona, Wild at Heart, Face/Off, Mandy, etc… SO many great ones to choose from.
Another parallel with Adaptation is the fact that they're living the movie that they're making. I'd also say that it seems to borrow from The Interview, in that an entertainer gets close to a high profile bad guy who happens to be a superfan, and the CIA recruits him for a sting operation.
Would not hesitate for a minute to see Angelina do a Nic Cage Marathon Moonstruck Raising Arizona Vampire's Kiss Wild at Heart The Rock Con Air Face/Off Willy's Wonderland And MANDY where Cage shows the Cage the most.
Pedro comes from such a surprising background, he's such a lovable and awesome being. I think you would love. About him before he got into the acting industry and how it's not too far off from this movie❤. Great video!
I don’t know if I have a favourite movie because I like different movies for different things. If I had to pick the one that comes to mind is Everything Everywhere All at Once but there are other movies I love just as much. The Sorcerer’s Apprentice is actually one of them. LOL
Alas I don't do pod casts, but that was a great intro to your new channel. Watched this in the theater, I admit the beginning was a little iffy, but it did pick up quickly. The climax at the end perfect.
Favorite Movie all time: Avengers: Infinity War. Simple question for me and there's a long conversation that can be had about why it's that for me and I can run down the list of previous favorites and how and why they were at the time. For me IW was a story I read and never thought it would/could be adapted and the MCU did such a good job building their world and building to that point and the emotional highs of that were so good. Plus I respected that they actually had the balls to end it the proper way.
Wow, you mentioned Renfield. Seems like you enjoyed it and so did I, I think that movie is so underrated. Me and my bro were the only ones at the cinema (kinda a little private show, haha) and they pulled it off the screen after that.
So Ange needs to watch Con Air and Paddington 2 (and Rogue one because I can confidently say that is my favorite movie and I’m not just saying that to end the conversation)
My favourite movie is Lord of the Rings Return of the King and if anything I want that to invite further conversations. But you're right after that and the other LOTRs I'm like I DUNNO LOTS OF MOVIES ARE GREAT
Going to echo what other peeps have said, you should definitely watch the Nic Cage movie they showed at the start of this one, Con Air! It’s gloriously and deliberately unhinged, and has an absolutely INSANE cast. It’s a legit Cage classic.
I saw a couple of his interviews pertaining to this movie and if it parodies his real life, it turns out he’s more of a calm, just let me do my thing personally, like to be alone. He has even seen THIS movie since it’s too much of a trip for him
I disagree with your view on people who have an immediate answer to "whats your favourite movie". My immediate answer will always be city of god, it is an absolute masterpiece
Now I WANNA WATCH THIS MOVIE! Soo good!! Props to mamá Kim for the outfit al thought, that strap didn’t want to be still! That comment coming from a guy!!
I disagree I would say Nope is my favorite movie, I worked with lions who actually killed someone after I left and I really like the message that you can't tame a predator, you have to make an agreement with one... Nope has other things like too but I really related with the Gordy parts and Jean Jacket.
Maybe after watching this new self-referential meta Nic Cage movie, now you can go back and watch some actual Nicholas Cage classics that made him the icon we know today. Which I can’t help but notice are mysteriously absent from your channel. Some Nicholas Cage gold to see “Wild at Heart” (1990) “Raising Arizona” (1987) “Leaving Las Vegas” (1995) “8 mm” (1999) “Adaptation” (2002) I’m going to take a wild guess and say you’ve never seen any of these movies. You owe it to Nicholas Cage to honor his work by watching these films on your channel.
Special thanks to my patrons
Nicolas Cage being Nicolas Cage, that's all a movie needs
I saw the trailer for this movie and was genuinely excited for it, and it in no way disappointed me. The LSD scene where they're trying to get over the wall had me crying laughing!
As someone who did LSD multiple times, that scene is so accurate

Mama Kim is a stylist icon 😂 love the content Ange!

The Nicolas Cage twin is a meta reference to his duel role in the 2002 Harvey Kauffman film 'Adaptation' with Meryl Streep.
And appearance-wise he's supposed to resemble how he looked in an interview he did with Terry Wogan back in the 90s
Another parallel with Adaptation is the fact that they're living the movie that they're making.
I'd also say that it seems to borrow from The Interview, in that an entertainer gets close to a high profile bad guy who happens to be a superfan, and the CIA recruits him for a sting operation.
Charlie Kauffman? 😂
Would not hesitate for a minute to see Angelina do a Nic Cage Marathon
Moonstruck
Raising Arizona
Vampire's Kiss
Wild at Heart
The Rock
Con Air
Face/Off
Willy's Wonderland
And MANDY where Cage shows the Cage the most.

The Sorcerer’s Apprentice is actually one of them. LOL
So, no that isn't Nic Cage's actual daughter but she is Michael Sheen and Kate Beckinsale's, so she is a daughter of actors still.
I always found it funny that her name is literally a pun "Lily MO SHEEN" as in Machine
Castor Troy and The Mandalorian watching Paddington 2, doing drugs and crying about having to kill each other - Peak Cinema.
Just started watching recently, love the format and content you've made! 🙌
Easily one of the best bromantic movies ever made, up there with "I Love You, Man"
Alas I don't do pod casts, but that was a great intro to your new channel. Watched this in the theater, I admit the beginning was a little iffy, but it did pick up quickly. The climax at the end perfect.
Just started watching! Here for the ride 🙏
My favourite movie is The Thing. I used to have a lot of trouble deciding that but then it hit me that that's the movie I want to watch over and over
I love nic cage with all my heart

Me: You have to watch this movie! other: What genre is it? me: YES!!!
Momma Kim killed it!
I got some recommendations. Either Midnight Runners or The Foreigner. One's korean and the other one is 60 year old Jackie Chan going crazy.
Well, now you need to watch the Paddington movies since Nick said they were good
I was thinking this too.
I disagree I would say Nope is my favorite movie, I worked with lions who actually killed someone after I left and I really like the message that you can't tame a predator, you have to make an agreement with one...
