Kids etc also spawn from your gallery. If there are no kids, it takes an adult/young adult/elder/teen and turns it into an adult. When they become young adults they just spawn in random clothing and end up in a hot-dog costume, top hat and flip-flops. So this will not eliminate wierd townies completely, just reduce the frequency.
I did this a few months ago. I have done alot of 100 baby challenges and I usually save the kids to my gallery. I have hundreds of sims that I made in my gallery. I always have 8 challenge kids (became young adults) in each group and that keeps my gallery from being too bulky. For some reason though, sims at university keep changing thier clothes and sometimes look wretched.
@@Knicoleplays I know that they do in University. I played 1 semester so far in one of my game and they came in wearing the outfits they were supposed to. I guess they change clothes in University (maybe laundry pack has something to do with it?) into different outfits. The only ones that kept the same outfits were the two I was playing, all of thier roommates changed outfits nearly every day. The ones that visited also stayed in thier nice outfits too. Also if they are in the gallery as young adults (or other age group) and the game adds them to a family as a child instead they will not keep thier young adult outfit. I am okay with this so far, I mean it has reduced the amount of Baatu hats, ballgowns and flip-flop outfits all over the place at least.
i keep trying to do this and i followed all the steps. i saved over 60+ sims to my library and made sure i had all the packs that they came with but whenever i go out i only see townies that come with the sims 4 (example): Nancy Landgrab, Katrina Caliente, Don Lothario, Victor Feng etc. someone please help idk what i’m doing wrong i never find anyone i saved in game 😭
@@Raindesignn i ended up having to actually place some sims from my library around where my sims lives so that they can be their neighboors, that's the only fix i've found so far. i still havent found a solid solution tho
The only sims I ever saw was my own sims from the gallery. It’s a bit weird to go somewhere with your sims and see them at that lot😮 That was happening in one of my saved games 🤔

When i do this my townies appear a stage older than the actual age saved in my gallery. For example, i have young adults saved to my gallery but as townies they are adults, do you know how can i fix this?
I could be completely wrong, but it’s possible that MCCC is trying to fill the adult spawn rate, and it isn’t finding enough adults, so it’s changing sims from your library to adults to populate. If I remember right, there’s a population setting to adjust the percentage of sims in each age range (I usually turn down elders because I don’t want a bunch of old people everywhere lol)

Since HS years came out, how do I make the students the sims I downloaded to my library? I keep getting EA townies.

there's a way to fix that!
you can bypass specific sims that you don't want (which obviously it's weird seeing your own sim in game as a clone lol)

This should work for any computer that can run the sims 4 and mods. No packs needed, just the MCCC mod.
