Demonstrating tuffbau tuffsetG rapid stength gain pavement mortar

This film shows the construction of a panel of paving using the revolutionary tuffset G single-solution, rapid strength gain pavement mortar.
In only three hours the pavement can be opened to trafficking. tuffset G is ideal for repairs where long term closure is not an option.
- tuffset G is mixed with aggregate to produce a high-performance bedding mortar.
- not shown in the video, tuffset G mixed as a paste, is applied to the underside of the paving setts immediately before laying to enhance the adhesion bond. The setts have been washed to remove any dust and dirt beforehand.

After only three hours, the pavement can be opened to trafficking. The test panel was subjected to a 8 tonne Bomag roller with the vibration turned fully on with no damage visible. The pavement was sawn to show that the grout flowed completely into the voids between the paving elements.
