Aw,😢 I’m sorry you had to go through that. I grew up on a dairy farm and yeah, I’ve been through all the procedures. Some joyful, which you celebrate. The other ones? You get through them. I will say one thing, thank you for being patient and gentle during the calving process. I’ve heard of people wanting to yank the calf out no matter what. I personally don’t handle being rough with a living being. Every loss is sad. That makes you a good caregiver. It hurts more but the hurt is part of the kindness.

My daughter is a vet and we both follow your channels. She suggested that you had to enter her and help deliver the calf and since it had already passed that you get antibiotics to give her so she doesn’t develop an infection. Just a suggestion I’m sure you already have checked into it.

Yes she is, most of Gods creations actually mourn the loss of their babies. Some will bellow (moo) for days🥺, it’s terribly sad but it’s also a part of life for us all. We give thanks tonight for Chad and Rae and all who they reached out to for saving Miss Tipsy……. AMEN🙏🏻

I'm ANITA: Chad: I've had Grandma and Grandpa as well as Y'all on my heart All day. I know you couldn't video at the hospital and I wouldn't want ANY of you too. I prayed for Grandma to come through the surgery and the Lord have his healing hands upon her. I prayed for Y'all too! I'm sorry that Tipsy lost her calf and that is so sad. When I had a chihuhua lose one of her pups at birth, my vet said; "Let her smell the pup so she would know he wasn't alive". I don't know how that works in cows so they accept that their calf is dead. I know You and Rae made the Right decision for Tipsy and I would have done the same thing. Okay, now some wet eye's... Tipsy is absolutely my favorite, I'm so glad she is okay.... I am so sorry you have hurt hearts.... I share that with you.... BTW None of the other ones could be my favorite just because of Tipsy's name and because she is so beautiful! My beautiful kitty cat was Tippy Sue, aka: Tipsy.... I lost her when she was 15, I still miss her so. God willing Tipsy will give us a baby to watch in the future. She is just so so beautiful! Prayers and hugs for you all.

If it means anything, I think you did the right thing. So sorry it was still born. Pray that Tippsy has expelled all the afterbirth debris. It is sometimes hard to know if it's all out. It can cause some infection. God bless & I'm still praying for grandma. Luv ya all: GRAM👵

Sorry you lost the calf, but glad you had the advisors to help you make the right decision that most benefitted Tipsy. You and Rae learned a lot with the trouble June had with Frank. Because of that you had what you needed on hand to save Tipsy and you now have even more knowledge and experience. Lord willing when the time is right Maximus will do what bulls do and Tipsy will have another calf. Prayers for your family and your Mom and Dad.

I grew up on a ranch in Texas. I used to help my dad with birthing calves, and unfortunately sometimes we had to pull the dead calf out piece by piece to save the cow. It’s heartbreaking, but necessary. There’s much to learn when you raise animals. God bless for that situation and for your mom.❤
