HOLY CRAP !!! You could have picked my eyes up off the floor and my jaw with it when you just lifted that stove right out of the dumpster !!!! 😲😲😲♥️🌈🇨🇦. And the old cookbooks usually have the BEST RECIPES.
When you bang on the dumpsters and get all excited when you see something in the dumpsters. You remind me of animal on the muppets banging on his drums . But in your case you play the drumpsters 😂
Mike, just fyi the mail boxes are bought by the landlord/ owner. They were in the trash, they are yours.......but you could call the post office and let them know you have scrap boxes that have "postal issued locks" still installed. It's the big lock holding the entire door closed. It's called an "Arrow key lock". They sure would appreciate it.
Nice haul brother Mike! If possible, try to sell the mail boxes, there big bucks bud, much more than scrap. Another fun adventure Mike, even if it wasn't all that "slick and sticky" Awoooo ya'll 👊👍✌️
Those cookbooks have an audience, especially these days. The old ones are where the good recipes are from before they made them "healthier" and "easier" and removed the resemblance to food.
Hi Mike, I would never dumpster do e your spots Brother because I consider myself a "Pallet Picker Extraordinaire", you can build a pretty cool extra garage/shop or even a small spare room! Keep on pickin' and makin' your vids Mike and you be safe and God Bless you and th' loved ones!! 🦝
Howdie Mike, don’t suppose we could get a video of you visiting your computer guy..would be a great insight into the process of saving all those computer components
And I bet that Scrap and Pallet man, Paul, was praying for you. That's a blessing and a half!!! Scored big on that wire, bro! PS, get the cans man, its aluminum, too. A bit of scrappidy scrap scrap!!!!!!
I think I would just pull the sticker off the old mailboxes. You didn’t find any uncounted ballots in the mailboxes did you? Another great video by MTS. Stay safe and God Bless
Up cycle mail boxes Retro ...respray dril! Some holes in Back out some lights in.... Retro storage even for a kitchen can me made into spice cupboards ect...... Just saves scrapling
Those mail boxes, the only thing that the post office owns is the main key mechanism that open the whole side exposing every mail slot.the keys in the individual doors are not postal property. That whole box can be unscrewed and parts replaced as opposed to it being all welded. Different kinds of stuff there. There’s probably a resale value on it as a whole that’s better than just scrap. Post office stuff is all fading away. Cool find
Mike, Look on the hinge edge of doors for a underwrighters label denoting a door as a fire rated door. Also look inside factory made holes predrilled for screws, lock set mortises and hinge mortise. If you can see ANY white or light gray material inside the door through these holes...it’s asbestos (this was how I would get my samples from a door without busting it open). This applies to wood doors as well, I’ve seen a few construction site messes due to ignorance regarding fire doors. A worker with a 20 dollar tool can make a 2000 dollar mess in very little time. Most of these doors will come from buildings prior to the late 1970s.
Hey Mike...The mail boxes would be nice painted and would be great for kids rooms for shoes..Thanks for taking us along always fun..Stay safe out there..
OMG I collect those type of old cookbooks. I have over 2000 in my collection. I saw them and said oh I want them. Then realized this was 3 years ago lol
I can't believe I've never seen this episode!!! Anyway if you find old cookbooks like these please let me know I will buy and pay to ship to me I promise.
I seen a video where they glued all the pages in hard back books drilled holes through them all and put a lamp pole through the books and made a set of lamps.👍👍✌👊👊
Look if you're edged cuz I'm weezin on your grindage, chill cuz if I had the whole Brady Bunch thing going on at my place I'd just go grind over there, so don't tax my gig so hardcore, cruster...
Brother, you must be living right to find that hose lol I mean straight-up copper, those things sell well just for 220 extension cords and man are they expensive. :)
Always keep an eye out for "The Joy of Cooking by Irma S. Rombauer" It's got quite the following and the super old ones can fetch a nice price. Also, the recipes are delicious!
Just an idea to deal with the 'dumpster juice'...maybe keep a pair of oversized rubber boots/galoshes in the truck that you can slip on/off real quick. Would let you stomp around the bigger dumpsters/open tops without messing up your shoes.
what ! I didn't see nuffin, I don't have any idea where he got all those mail boxes. Heck I wasn't even on the puter that day boss man. LOL. thanks for another great video.
You do a service x2. . . you free up space in the dumpster so the customer gets better use of it and you recycle stuff that shouldn't be going into the landfill anyway. . . so you GO boy.
Hey that plastic fitting stuff cost $$$ the pipe is cheap but like that valve cost 15-45 $$$ the fitting are spensive. One of those reducer fitings goes for like 5 bucks there was like 75 ish dollars in parts you threw back
There's still a lot of houses out there with asbestos shingles what they did was they put aluminum over it or vinyl and never took it off and people who buy houses later on find out they got to have all that asbestos rooms and it's not cheap.
