For the most bit, this adaptation sounds like jibberish-- and I wholly get that. Tatsuro used so many long words, it was difficult to adapt it without using loads of short English words to fill-out the syllable-count in his Japanese ones. I tried my hardest, but alas, I cannot provide pristine perfection. So if any of you had recommendations for a lyrical fix-- or even your own take on the translation, I'd be ecstatic to hear it!
