Eggs were still 1.19 on Wednesday at aldi.
I think the worst part of the high prices, is the really big increases of the fallback staples. When you couldnt afford broccoli the cabbage, potatoes, celery and carrots were still super cheap.
Things like dry beans, plain oatmeal, rice which were always affordable pantry staples are not so cheap anymore. 😢
Dont know if there is anyway to turn this around some.

So Walmart is Villainized for charging what everyone else does now ? Video title makes it out like Walmart drastically raised prices above other comparable stores is a bit misleading.

Walmart Corprate Family own several mansions. So them plus the Corprate suppliers like Tyson are the ones going crazy with the prices.

I'm in South Texas, I would gladly pay the prices you're showing. Same amount of grapes $7.98 on sale!
$2.50 for 1 lb brown sugar. $2.98 for 16 oz grated cheese. $4.98 for 16oz block cheese. Coffee $14.98.
Now when we go to Costco (an hour away) prices are cheaper, but we have to pay for gas. $2.93 a gallon today.

Brown sugar is regular sugar and molasses. For dark brown sugar it's 2 table spoons per cup, for light it's 1 table spoon. Cheese freezes well. Not sure what coffee brands you use, but they go on sale just like most things.

The bad thing is people cannot afford to buy this unless you were on food stamps so a lot of it will just go to waste but they would rather do it away then keep prices low

I saw lettuce for $2.18 at Walmart but I've been buying it at Ingles on managers specials. I got iceberg for 99 cent. I got a huge tub of organic spring mix for $1.49....regular $7.48. I got sliced mushrooms for 99 cents.

@@regardentharethat is not a farmers market. Do you have farms around? Lots of them have at least produce stands. Prices are cheaper than store prices, or close to them. It costs under a dollar to bake your own bread.

Get the great value giant coffee mate creamers, the same stuff thats in cofee mate brand, skip the k cups and use a reusable. Plenty of fixes if you own a kurig machine 😉 the morningstar fake meat is toxic waste. Dont overlook the clearence bakery at WM thise can be a great deal. A buck 22 for the seasoning mixes is crazy. Buy a bottle of Badia complete seasoning works on most dishes. Dont get the microwave mac and cheese, it is truly awful, take 7 minutes out of your life and really cook it... a great alternative to frozen pizzas is their garlic bread, i top with spinach tomatoes, mushrooms and cheese.❤

The GV hot pockets are indeed inferior to the original but it'll do in a pinch. It's not awful and with the price difference I can eat a lesser quality product from time to time. Maybe if I ate them regularly I'd go for the name brand but if I just want a quick snack I'll save alittle and grab the GV
