I love this music so very much. I remember hearing this music for the first time at a birthday party. I was a young boy and fully blown away by the mesmerizing beauty of this music. Man, I couldn't get enough of it and I didn't even see the movie. Every time I hear it I have goosebumps all over. An absolute masterpiece by a genius. Thank you so much Meastro Ennio Morricone. ❤

This was one of our 2016 archives. Friends a lot (and I mean A LOT!) has happened since then. For starters, this classic could use another 'restoration Pass' (or two) to build on what we did in 2016, especially now. I hope to eventually make that happen at some point. But there is much more work to do. Let me explain. Folks, are you aware that there exist many, many legacy artists that unfortunately, the digital age of music has NOT been so kind? For example, one of them is Pop/Country artist, B. J. Thomas. So my studio, LegacyVMP Studio, is on a mission to try and help do our part to change this kind of business climate within the legacy audio industry that we feel, is long overdue. I think the time is right for studios like mine (and others!) to take what technology now affords us and turn it into something that can be very positive for the industry as a whole. Will you help us do that? Here are some of our more recent restorations to help illustrate what I am talking about. I want to stress with these: 1.) the power of recent advances in audio restoration technology in particular to allow studios like mine to do what we do! 2.) I want you to hear just how far our sound has come (maturity-wise) since we did this restoration. Make simply analogue copies digital is something you can forget... Now its this and later its that... I still use a reel to reel player or a vinyl player... New vinyls? Yes but nos not the new shit
I like your passion. My love for music as a whole also made me be on a path that goes further. I know for instance that the very very best LP pressing for this music is the Dynaflex with the faded EMI dog on the label. Second is the black RCA. But the orange RCA is already great. I do not know in which state the original tapes from 1967/8 are. Best is to digitalise them again in high res like 384khz 32 bits with a very very good clock which is much more important than the resolution itself. This digital file is the basis with which you can develop the best mastering or sort of MQA like corrections of recording aperture faults etc etc. If you work this way you can really make something even more valuable than the already CD version and LP pressings provide. Another thing I am busy with is optimalisation of the music reproduction chain at home of a lot of different audio components and set ups. With the learning curve I have reached levels the normal most expensive high end brands are not able to deliver. But next to this I am busy making the best rips of CDs and SACDs. Those rips have a quality none CD player is able to deliver but also streaming platforms are not able to deliver. So much more quality the music which is provided by streaming is obsolete.
