Every person you meet is some sort of lesson, It teaches you how to learn to grow and live okay on your own, How to protect your energy and your heart, And how to navigate the world, I don’t regret any of the time I spent with people from my past, Because they made me who I am today. If I didn’t have any of my romantic relationships I wouldn’t have learned that having a boyfriend or partner can improve my life but not fix it. No matter what you cover up your pain and issues with it will still arise again later. The layers of paint will keep peeling until you hit the wood of your frame if you don’t choose to take your experiences and learn from them. You have to rebuild and repaint yourself to grow and be better for the next person you love. Life is about the experience not the ending.
