I love that Rob came back. But many were the Ripper years transformational. Imagine if he were still there. It doesn't even sound like Priest. But it wasn't necessarily a bad thing. Big fan of Rob's solo work, but only one album really sounded like not-Priest.

I hope that Demolition will be more popular and gain more recognition over time. Fans might have been disappointed when it was released, but I agree, it has so many really good songs on it, and I still like to listen to it today, just like I still listen to British Steel. Classic JP simply. :)

I love Jugulator since 1997. It's a fantastic album with modern parts from this time. Like the most Priest-Albums! I'm sure the "real" fans hated the Keyboards in the 80ies too. JUDAS PRIES always kept up with the times.

Shut up, Judas Priest has always been a rather experimental band, even before this album. You clearly don't know the band enough to know that. There's no defined "Judas Priest sound".
I think Judas Priest took the easy way out by reuniting with Halford whose voice was fucking blown and since that reunion, they've put out 4 albums and not one even came close to being great. Each were lazy and phoned in. Surprisingly, Priesy treated the reunion album like no big deal. The bare minimum of songs and most were rips of songs on Painkiller. The album didn't even sound like heavy metal. They created a new genre of slow, clumsy Codger-Metal. If they stayed with Owens they had a harder road ahead but would've been a superior band with a guy who could still hit the notes. They needed to lose Scott Travis and Ian Hill though. Travis has sounded weak for 20 years and Hill is just a standard bassist while other bands have phenomenal bassists.
Song is so powerful especially chorus "Heee is the man, Armageddon, walkin through fire metal Messiah!" Amazing, and Ian's bass... lovely
