You know whats funny, i couldn't remember pretty much any of this version until you showed the mini games. Id spend hours trying to beat those, specifically during car rides. I played way too much of the complete saga. Wii, ps3, pc, and DS. Technically, ps2 as well. I didn't have a memory card when i was a kid. Every day after school, I'd try to speed run both games before going to bed. After your last video, I was trying to 100% Lego Batman again on DS, but the battery stopped working. This game was also my first introduction to lego in general. i first played this at EBGames, they had it on display. Sometime later i remember seeing a commercial for lego agents while watching tv with my dad. I told him thats what i want for christmas. Anyway, I enjoyed the video. Keep it up! Oh and, i personally prefer long videos like this. But its ultimately up to you. I'll keep watching these either way.
Wow that brought me back! I forgot about the days of needing to speed run games because I couldn't save. Also nooo im sorry to hear about your ds battery RIP
@@ratlawd no problem. Hey, have you considered streaming your journey through these games? The little snippets of your live gameplay are pretty entertaining
@@azeplays3563 its funny you say that because ive been seriously thinking about it! Ive never streamed before so itd be a learning process setting it up but id be down to try it
this video was ton of fun to watch, so I would love more in this style! I also noticed you mentioned you struggled some with editing? I'd be happy to lend a hand. can't wait for the next one.
Thank you! I just checked out some of your videos and goddamn you're talented. Your content is like what I imagined in my head when I played with legos as a kid I'm really impressed
Those minigames totally destroyed me as a kid and I don't think I beat any of the challenge mode ones as a kid that also had endless versions. The endless versions should have been the only ones and not the abominable challenge ones with stages. Anyway I really enjoyed this video you did a great job with it!
God this is such a weird mandella effect. I own this game, I played it a ton as a kid and watching the video, most of it adds up. But I SWEAR the version I have has the hub in some futuristic ship that is a silver and blue background rather than the Cantina. And that is the only thing that feels wrong so it messes me up. Maybe it was a bug though, I had to stop playing it because my characters would start glitching and lose texture randomly. Edit 21:18 - Maybe it was a lighting thing in my brain? Because the area with the purchasing and character creator feels right. It could be I misremebered the pod's lighting being all over when it wasn't.
oh hell yeah lego star wars ds games! Having a blast watching and now Im itching to pull out my games. Thoughts on the harry potter ds games? I tried playing the years 5-7 game and it was atrocious compared to lego star wars. of course I am heavily biased towards lego star wars because it was like one of my first gaming experiences
I played 1-4 when it came out and remember loving it. From what I've read that one wasn't the best received so maybe I was a naive child lol. Never played 5-7 personally.
Honestly I do prefer the original Xbox 360 version of the game due to the fact it looks alot nicer and has higher detail along with the more open 3D environment compared to the ds version. But this DS version does look solid maybe I'll try that version out someday..
Are you doing this series on real hardware or an emulator? If on an emulator I suggest the website retro achievements if that's your kinda thing. Also cool video! Looking forward to seeing the rest.

If were talking objectively the console versions are so much better. These ones are just kinda interesting pieces of gaming history imo
Please make the music a bit quieter, it can be hard to hear you at times
Yeah i noticed that too. Ill keep that in mind for the next ones
