  • Not sure what to do when the immobiliser light is flashing but when it is solid, press all controls and use indicators and it'll bypass the solid light

    For my Clio 1.2 8v from 2003, the solution is to wind the steering wheel to one side and then to the other. And the problem with the immobilizer is that the light stay stady and it occurs most often when the gearbox remains in reverse.

    Renault Clio 1998 I lost the key and I'm stuck on the street, I can't go anywhere, and how can I start it with the help of a wire?

    The same thing happens to my Renault Clio! Can you tell me what exactly is in question! I checked the key, ecu, relays, everything is ok ... I'm left to check the uch and the ring around the lock!Thank u

      Marko Micic There is no way of fixing it with out replacing the whole immobiliser which includes reprogramming your keys too, I just didn't see it to be worth the money anymore. Just keep doing what I did in this video, always worked for me when I had mine.

      It’s the transponder in the key barrel and sometimes it doesn’t pick up the chip code to mobilise the engine thus not starting. What sometimes works is if u disconnect the battery and leave for 5 mins and come back reconnect the battery and it should fire up.

    Did you try the position 2 > press lock button > position 1 and back to position 2 trick before this?

      Daniel Yes but this didn’t work in my case. This seemed to be the only way to bypass for me

      @@HMVmanchester Thanks for your reply, I've got a renault van with this problem. I was just curious to know if you had tried that fix as we did and it didn't work, did the problem return after using your fix?

      Unfortunately yes, there is no fix unless you replace it. Mine is now probably the size of a football as I scrapped it. Seat Leon now

    Działa !!! :) Clio 2 Lift 2002r 1.2l sposób działa !!! Szybko miga kontrolka od immobilizera albo święci na stałe - wystarczy przekręcić kluczyk na pozycję 2 nacisnąć na kluczyku otwieranie centralnego zamka i nie puszczając przełączyć na pozycje 1 i spowrotem na pozycje 2 i cały czas nie puszczając centralnego zamka odpalić --------- DZIAŁA !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dzięki !!!

      Beguate unfortunately there is no way of fixing it without replacing the immobiliser and reprogramming the keys, could cost anything from £150 up to £400+ so I got rid of mine. Sorry I can't help bud

    Works on a Renault Kangoo 2012, but what is the origin f the problem and will it recur until a permanent fix and what is that permanent fix?

      Alec Gray - Hi pal, this will continue to recur until you get a permanent fix. How often it will occur is another thing. Mine happened roughly 7/10 times

    The second link 800X Zoom include picture microscopic crack foot

    Mine did this for ages, turns out it was a dodgy microswitch in the fob. Got one from eBay and soldered on, jobs a good un.

      walid zouabi French car electronics are so bad, you'll need a new mobiliser or possible need it to be overridden. I fixed this issue by getting rid of it in the end. Well, it's in the drive leaking in rain growing mold on the inside

    PERMANENT FIX IS TO CHANGE MICROCHIP IN THE KEY.
    THERE ARE NEW CHERAMICAL MICROCHIPS THAT CAN NEVER BE BROKEN.
    JUST FIXED MY KEY YESTERDAY.
    IF YOU HAVE SPARE KEY USE THAT ONE YOU DON'T NEED TO FIX THIS ONE. I DIDN'T HAVE THE SPARE KEY.

      Ne znam dal si i dalje aktivan, pre godinu ipo kodirali su mi kljuc i nije se palila lampica evo do pre neki dan. Dal opet da idem da ga kodiram i dali se uopste moze kodirati 2 puta

      @@stefan2608 probaj stisnuti kljuc (onaj dio za daljinsko zakljucavanje) kada ga gurnes i drzi cvrsto stisnuto. ako onda pali normalno, problem je u kljucu, negdje dolazi do slabog kontakta. čip se moze mijenjati neograniceno puta, pitajte imaju li keramički čip taj je nepoderiv

    I understand this won't work for ALL Clios with this issue. If you want a 100% sure fix then buy a new immobiliser or override it. Better still, do what I did and get rid! All French cars have horrendous electronics. This car had nothing but issue after issue and 2 years and over £1000 on repairs later, I got rid
