Hi Carolina i just love how you document your videos and travels explaining every single detail from what you see but also from your reseach, also i love the good vibe you send to us through your amazing smile, you have a really beautiful soul and we feel it, i just have a small critic, it's that you dont show the other side of Morocco, i mean the modern one, coz you you missed so much beautiful things in Casablanca, anyways stay real stay beautiful as you already are and keep the good work, much love from a Moroccan living in Germany

We loved the novelty of being able to buy the fish and then take it to a café as we don't have anything like this in the UK. I'm pleased you found the video fun ☕☕ cheers!

As a moroccan living in europe I have to give you a big thanks. You showed me a part of morocco that I didnt know. I also have to say that your energy and soul are beautifull. You are a person that makes other people feel good, wich in this day and age is rare. Stay beautiful and awesome! Much love from a moroccan 🥰.

Those ice creams at the start of the video looked delicious - I also like how you get all those options and choices. Trouble with options and choices though is that you have to make decisions! The fish guys were friendly and seemed to love the camera - all good for us vloggers 😅 Crazy seeing them skin and debone the white one - you can tell he's done that a few times before! Love the coin toss to decide where you were going to eat - nice spread of food too and an even better price! Fate sent you on a DIY food tour but it reminded me of a lesson I've learnt many times whilst travelling - things usually have a habit of working out no matter what! Great video!!

It's so true about things working out no matter what. I was really grateful too for how friendly and welcoming the guys were in the fish market and I hope they get to see this video! I was fascinated by the squid - I'd never seen a fishmonger pull the blade out from inside... or take the skin off like this gentleman did! The butchery and fishmonger(y?) in Morocco was fascinating. I have an amazing clip from our time in Fes, but I need to plaster a big warning over it otherwise I could see some people becoming upset over it... but so much of the stuff that happens behind closed doors in the UK was just there for anyone to see! Thank you for your kind words about the video

what did you think of that unusual ice cream? I have had it once here in USA. I didn't like it as much as ice cream, ice cream. I went with other people in my family and all of them loved it better than ice cream, ice cream, lol

I don't think I could choose which I prefer. I liked how the rolled frozen yoghurt was nice and chewy, but it lacked the 'meltability' that the non-rolled stuff has. I'd happily go for either again!

Hi Khatoon, I am well thank you, I hope you are too. We wandered past the Notre Dame church but sadly there was no way for us to get in. I'd heard you could try knocking on the door and a keeper could show you around and it's courteous to tip them afterwards, but we couldn't even get to the door as it was fenced off with a shut gate. It would have been cool to look inside as I've heard it's very interesting!

Last part of my research there are several attractions such as open air market, dozen of restaurants where they sell cheap traditional food . Port de peche sprawling port of Casablanca where freshmen and everything there is dirt cheap . El Hank lighthouse located at edge of Bourgogne District. Little Senegal spit entire city where you can buy food , clothes . Medina souks ( markets ) dozens of markets across city olive markets , Rick cafe , restaurant as same as one of movie in 1940s. Ain Diab popular beach for locals and foreigners. Sacre coeur Cathedral monument. Sidi Abed rahmane island . Bon voyage best wishes for you your family friends.

We never made it to so many of these places sadly. Perhaps a good reason to go back and visit one day! I love how this day turned out and we got to experience things we perhaps wouldn't have done had we done the tour, but likewise, the last minute cancellation meant we could have planned it better and maybe visited a lot more of the places you've listed!

    How much was dinner??

Oooh this is a tricky one to answer as we paid with cash so I can't go back to look at a card statement. Andy said in the video that the fish and 2 squids were about £12 (I think it was a little less than this) and I think we walked away saying we spent something like £20 or £25 in total, but this would have included all the extra food in addition to the seafood, the teas, someone cooking and prepping the fish and a tip. I'm afraid this was back in October (as it takes me time to edit these videos on top of my regular job) so a fair bit of time has passed.
