- I’m not a big fan of leather Soles, specially when it comes to my own boots, I recently bought these Wolverines (factory Seconds)
Just because I had a project in mind ,and I got them Resoled with a new black (flat welt)
leather midsoles
Double row stitching and a
Vibram 377 K Christy Thick and brown edge finish.
They came out Beautiful. A work of art. You did a great job! Love the double stitching and that sole.
🙏
Beautiful and perfect.
Fantastico... that double-row = NICEness! You're steppin' up your game and getting better and better... and happy for you that we're keeping you busy.
🙏
Tarde pero Seguro 🤣 jk bro keep up the great work 👍 I was already going to bed but seen the notification it was worth it keep it up hopefully one day I will sends you my White's Millwoods so you can swap out the wedge sole and put a heel like a timberland sole a lug I believe aver cuando se ma hace buen trabajo Aaron siempre te la rifas
🙏✋🏻👊
A completely new look for these, and they are fantastic! Great choice, Aaron.
Thanks Bryce!
The brown color on the leather midsole makes that work. Very nice.
JAJAJA, te quedaron bien chidas tus "neo classic wolverine", si me las pongo, felicidades!!!!!!!
Yup! They look different but cool.
Amazing skill and boots look great
Great job Aaron and hello to all the fellow boot addicts on this channel .
🤝😬
Nice!!!! Good job Aaron.
✋🏻🙏
As always great craftsmanship.
Muy buena combinación la suela con el resto de la botas.... guapísimas. Buen trabajo y saludos desde la Madre patria
Saludos mi buen Rolando, gracias!
Beautiful work amigo como siempre !
Those turned out awesome! I love the look! To bad about the factory mess up on the speed hook.
Very different & turned out super good 👌
That double stitching is CLEAN, great work! Very cool choice of outsole too. 👍
🤝
Check those boots out now wow ! Your talent is a blessing ! Keep up the good work 👏
🙏
Wow I like the sole great job Aaron nice boots
Soles looks amazing! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Awesome job! Love them!
De lo mejor Aron
Those look awesome. A nice pair.
🙏✋🏻
Beautifull work Aron 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻👊🏻🇧🇷
Thanks Paulo
these videos are awesome! beautiful work!
Thank You 🙏
Quedaron bien perronas maestro, saludos desde México
Muchas Gracias , saludos Leobardo!
Awesome those are 🔥!!!
That sole goes so well with that boot, makes me wish I still had mine, I would have sent them in.
Very clean and consistent.. but i was almost certain you’d patch the back side of the eyelet. Two short rows of stitch hidden within the existing row. You’re only trying to support a small area, the patch would work with only 2 rows and save you the appearance of an square.
Dig that look and I have a pair of 1000 mile oxfords that are going to get a 2060 sole.
Also saw that Panhandle leather sticker, great company to do business with there.
That's a killer boot, RSR. Amazing work. Those soles looks great.
✋🏻👊
Very cool man!!
Always top notch 👏
🙇♂️🙏
Holy Moly Bro, this is sick! 😳😱
Awesome, they look crazy, came out damn good! 👏😁👌
✋🏻👊
sugar, I really like your channel, well done
¡Guapísimas! 💯🔥🐐
I like the boots but even more your work.
I love how you converted that Wolverine boot into an equivalent boot (Red Wing Blacksmith) 😎
This is why I usually stick to Red Wing boots since they are made with good quality products at a reasonable price
Thanks,
Well there’s actually no comparison between them but, I just wanted to do something different with these factory seconds, and I liked the final results!!✋🏻
@@AaronG2480 agree! Looks great!
Looks great, I bet that boot is very comfortable with that type of sole.
They are,
Thanks
i like the double row stitching
Those look dope Aaron! The soles look great with the color of the leather! The double row welt stitch is a nice touch too!! You always do a really nice job!! Cheers!
✋🏻👊cheers!
hi there awesome work, 👌 👏 but the sole just takes that certain look out of the boot but thats my view i would've gone with a redwing blacksmith type of sole.
That was the whole point 😅
By the way Wolverine makes these boots with wedge soles, and I don’t really like the configuration of
Blacksmith/Beckman
Thank you for watching 🙏🙏
Quedaron super chidas.
✋🏻👊🤝😅
6:19 ... What caused that, poor quality leather? Thank you for your amazing work!
The leather is good it’s actually A grade but For some reason they made that whole bigger than the sped hook !
Thanks!
So the defect was the hole holding the speed hook down?
Great project boots and results. Thanks for the video Aaron. Good luck on your trip, and you should bring back some cowboy boots to have another project on your hands. Maybe a logger style heel on them. (Jk, you said you hate logger style).
👍
Correct you got it right!
I don’t like cowboy boots 😅😅 but I’m definitely buying something !
Thanks 🙏
Very Nice!
Super cool!
Lovely... also that the video is longer and shows more details.
Make sure you go to Tecovas.
The boots look cool, nice colors on the sole. Do you mind translating what you said in spanish on the part where you put water on the edges ?
Thanks,
I actually said the same thing you just wrote 😅
A subscriber asked what was the sponge I used to stained the edges, I told him that I was just cleaning the soles with water, and that I use other stuff to stain the edges!
@@AaronG2480 haha okay. Thanks, keep making nice videos. Im learning a lot. Im a student apprentice in shoe repairing, always trying to learn more and new tricks and tips. 👍
Did you replace the shank? Or was it not needed? Nice work.
Wish I could afford to send a boot to you for a resole
Excelente trabajo. Cuánto cuesta un trabajo de esos
Brother are you in New York? Beautiful job.
Wow Aaron! Ese trabajo quedó fenomenal hermano. The double stitching 🤩 🔥💪 my lord! Amazing job! 👏☝️
✋🏻👊
Que diferencia hay entre esas botas y los black Smith redwing....
La calidad de unas blacksmith es superior, esto sólo fue un experimento
Pero no quiere decir que las botas sean malas , solo que estás son ma baratas por los materiales usados en la elaboración.
Very nice. Now they look like $600 boots.
Cool I would like take my whites in
Can u change the footbed in these boots without changing the midsole and outsole?
Great work, yet these camo soles look cheap. But you have 2k miles shoes now.
No mames quedaron mamalones . T la aventaste
do you paint shoes?
You should've replaced the insole with a leather one
Is it easier to work on a pair of brand-new boots or boots that have been warned for a year?
Is not, it’s actually harder
@@AaronG2480 I always wondered. I thought the worn ones would be. Thanks for all the great videos
Oh no my brother, that’s actually easier when shoes are new the glue and everything is stronger.
Thanks for supporting me 🙏
What was the problem with the speed hook?
Nothing was wrong with the speed hook
It wasn’t set up properly and the boot had a big whole
Keep in mind that these boots were factory seconds.
@@AaronG2480 I'm looking at a pair of thorogoods that are 8 and 1/2 wide. My iron Rangers are a 9d. Thoughts on sizing as I trust your professional opinion. Thanks in advance, Sir.
Get a Stetson Open Road hat.
That’s what I have in mind!👍
Where did u buy them for that price?
It was only one time sale
(Sierra)
Great work but that sole is hideous!
Donde puedo conseguir unas suelas como esas soy de mexico
No Sabría decirte, hasta donde se en mexico no hay Vibram
