I agree 100%, but, there are people and “churches” that don’t teach very much of anything. At least in America ( I can’t speak for Christians elsewhere in the world ) but here there a lot of lazy people and lazy believers that don’t read, learn, understand the scriptures. Many people are perfectly content to listen on Sunday morning to whatever the message is and take the preacher/paster/teacher at their word that they have the correct teachings. As a kid (90’s-early 2000’s) 99/100 messages I heard in church were generic “love your neighbor” type messages and zero teaching. It wasn’t until years later I could watch RUclips videos of people like breaker, missler, ect that I realized how little I actually knew. On top of all that, how many “Christian’s” live FOR this world, those people (even if they did/do believe in the rapture, many don’t want it to come. The church of the Laodiceans is in full swing nowadays.

I would be thankful if any saints here would pray for my salvation. I’ve been struggling with fear of man and repercussions from others if I repent and I’ve been in this willful cycle for a few years . Just started reading the Bible a couple years ago and I’m terrified literally every second of the day with zero peace other than when I’m busy distracting myself from the weight of my guilt and sin, which of course is a not even peace. I’m a 46 yo cowardly and prideful male and could use a Christian friend to help pull me out of this bondage. I see no way out and afraid of hurting others if I repent, because it would expose me. It’s sad and pathetic but I want to be honest. Thanks and may God bless everyone.
Accept the free gift of salvation found in Christ alone. Repentance comes from realizing we have sinned against God, not man. He alone is worthy of all praise. You can do nothing to deserve forgiveness of sins, He is merciful, when you place your faith in Christ. May the Holy Spirit give you peace.
I’ve been in your shoes. Still am in a sense. But salvation comes by believing the gospel and trusting Christ atonement of your soul by shedding his blood for your sins. There’s nothing you can do to earn your salvation it’s a free gift. So if you know for a fact Christ Was who he said he was and you trust him to keep his promises then you can have full assurance you are saved by grace through faith in his shed blood for your salvation. You are prayed for. Lord I ask that you take away any pride or fear of what others think for this brother, show him that You Jesus are the only way to the Father, You are the door Jesus. It's amazing watching Ezekiel 47 come to life, huh? I'd have never imagined there would be fish and plants in the Dead Sea with it being 9.5x saltier than the oceans, but here we are. The new stream east from Jerusalem is healing the waters as we speak, as prophesize by Ezekiel. There are a few vids on YT showing the fish, plants, and small trees, it's very cool. If God says it's going to happen, it will. There are several prophecies being fulfilled like the red heifer and temple as well.

Comment on min 47:30 ''Messiah is cut off after 62 weeks'' from Daniel 9:26 --> the explanation could also be that the final '70th week' of Daniel was already underway. The verse speaks in ''weeks''. So after 62nd week (meaning in the 63rd week) the Messiah is cut off. This means that this happened somewhere after the 62nd week. When we start counting from the moment the Lord Jesus began his ministry on Earth and counting after the 62nd week the Messiah was cut off at midpoint of the last week of Daniel. So there might be an case that there is only 3.5 years left and not the full 7 years of the 70th week. Part 3 of Messiah2030 discusses this in detail. Highly recommended to study this further. Although I leave it open as to what exactly the explanation should be. But it makes sense because in Revelation only the final 3.5 years can be traced back and not the full 7 years. And the beginning of the end by the Lord Jesus himself is predicted in Mat 24:14 ''..then comes the end'' which starts at verse 15. Paul also confirmed this in 2 Thess 2-4. Outside of the book of Daniel, there is no direct support (but only interpreatations) for a final seven years of Daniel that still has to happen in full length, but there is for the final 3.5 years.

If you read contemporaneous accounts of the destruction of Jerusalem you'll understand it to literally be the worst outpouring of suffering on any people, in any age.

Something you may or may not have consider about Daniel 9:24-27 is its focus primarily on 'Freeing the People from captivity' and the coming of 'Messiah the Prince', His Birth, Life, Death, Confirming the Covenant and the Destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple are all in the Prophesy and much more. The building work of the Temple is secondary although important for the people during that time. If you have a Hebrew to English Bible, and focus on the Script of Daniel 9:24, you will see that the First Two Words of Script are Identical, שבעים שבעים both have the same meaning, the Number Seventy. One of these Seventies has been changed by Masoretic Vowel Pointing, so that when translated, it reads 'Weeks' instead of 'Seventy'. Seventy Seventy indicates 'Two Calculations' each beginning with 'Seventy' (not 'Weeks') that are in verse 25. Because of this change to 'Weeks', the Prophesy is changed so that when calculated it gives us a Total = 483 years, with no start or end year and no other information. This means it is open for interpretation, which is what has happened. But if we accept the Script in its original form without vowel pointing we have a different answer to the Calculations. Daniel 9:25, instead of Seven 'Weeks' and Sixty and Two 'Weeks' we have: Seventy - Seven Seventy x7=490 plus Seven x7=49 Total = 539 BCE The Cyrus Decree. See, Ezra Chapter 1. Seventy - Sixty and Two 70x7=490 minus 62x7=434 Total = 56 BCE The Birth of Messiah the Prince If we take 56 from 539 we have the 483 years from the 'Seventy Weeks Prophesy', but now we have the hidden information that was given to Daniel. Daniel was over the Magi in Babylon and Persia, his writings would have been in the Palace Library for future Magi to read. This is how they knew the year 56 BCE, the Birth of the Messiah during the Reign of Herod Antipater the Idumaean, who died in 43 BCE. He was the Father of Herod the Great. See, Matthew Chapter 2. The Magi, the flight to Egypt and the return After the Death of Herod the Family returned home from Egypt via Jerusalem for the Festival before going home to Nazareth. See, Luke 2:41-42. 56 BCE minus 13 years = 43 BCE, the Messiah was 12 and in His 13th year at the death of Herod Antipater the Idumaean. Though controversial, scripture supports this view. Masoretic Vowel Pointing was introduced around 600/700 CE introducing the 'Tradition' of 'Weeks' into the Translation. Something to think about Robert.
A good explanation and mathematical breakdown of the 70 weeks of Daniel is in the book by Sir Robert Anderson. There is a chapter on "the coming prince." I haven't read this myself but it has been recommended by Pastor Jack Hibbs.

It's amazing watching Ezekiel 47 come to life, huh? I'd have never imagined there would be fish and plants in the Dead Sea with it being 9.5x saltier than the oceans, but here we are. The new stream east from Jerusalem is healing the waters as we speak, as prophesize by Ezekiel. There are a few vids on YT showing the fish, plants, and small trees, it's very cool. If God says it's going to happen, it will. There are several prophecies being fulfilled like the red heifer and temple as well.

Regarding Daniel and John, the revelator, I don't know how much or where you follow current events, but a few months ago, I saw a news commentary and revealed Benjamin Netanyahu's study interests. Although the angle of the photo wasn't helpful, they commentary said he frequently studied The Revelation to John. Apparently, he knows the End Times are approaching too!

Comment on min 47:30 ''Messiah is cut off after 62 weeks'' from Daniel 9:26 --> the explanation could also be that the final '70th week' of Daniel was already underway. The verse speaks in ''weeks''. So after 62nd week (meaning in the 63rd week) the Messiah is cut off. This means that this happened somewhere after the 62nd week. When we start counting from the moment the Lord Jesus began his ministry on Earth and counting after the 62nd week the Messiah was cut off at midpoint of the last week of Daniel. So there might be an case that there is only 3.5 years left and not the full 7 years of the 70th week. Part 3 of Messiah2030 discusses this in detail. Highly recommended to study this further. Although I leave it open as to what exactly the explanation should be. But it makes sense because in Revelation only the final 3.5 years can be traced back and not the full 7 years. And the beginning of the end by the Lord Jesus himself is predicted in Mat 24:14 ''..then comes the end'' which starts at verse 15. Paul also confirmed this in 2 Thess 2-4. Outside of the book of Daniel, there is no direct support (but only interpreatations) for a final seven years of Daniel that still has to happen in full length, but there is for the final 3.5 years.
This teaching was a big blessing to me.

Hi Robert! Something you may or may not have consider about Daniel 9:24-27 is its focus primarily on 'Freeing the People from captivity' and the coming of 'Messiah the Prince', His Birth, Life, Death, Confirming the Covenant and the Destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple are all in the Prophesy and much more.
The building work of the Temple is secondary although important for the people during that time.
If you have a Hebrew to English Bible, and focus on the Script of Daniel 9:24, you will see that the First Two Words of Script are Identical, שבעים שבעים both have the same meaning, the Number Seventy.
One of these Seventies has been changed by Masoretic Vowel Pointing, so that when translated, it reads 'Weeks' instead of 'Seventy'. Seventy Seventy indicates 'Two Calculations' each beginning with 'Seventy' (not 'Weeks') that are in verse 25.
Because of this change to 'Weeks', the Prophesy is changed so that when calculated it gives us a Total = 483 years, with no start or end year and no other information. This means it is open for interpretation, which is what has happened.
But if we accept the Script in its original form without vowel pointing we have a different answer to the Calculations. Daniel 9:25, instead of Seven 'Weeks' and Sixty and Two 'Weeks' we have:
Seventy - Seven
Seventy x7=490 plus Seven x7=49 Total = 539 BCE The Cyrus Decree. See, Ezra Chapter 1.
Seventy - Sixty and Two
70x7=490 minus 62x7=434 Total = 56 BCE The Birth of Messiah the Prince
If we take 56 from 539 we have the 483 years from the 'Seventy Weeks Prophesy', but now we have the hidden information that was given to Daniel.
Daniel was over the Magi in Babylon and Persia, his writings would have been in the Palace Library for future Magi to read. This is how they knew the year 56 BCE, the Birth of the Messiah during the Reign of Herod Antipater the Idumaean, who died in 43 BCE. He was the Father of Herod the Great. See, Matthew Chapter 2. The Magi, the flight to Egypt and the return
After the Death of Herod the Family returned home from Egypt via Jerusalem for the Festival before going home to Nazareth. See, Luke 2:41-42. 56 BCE minus 13 years = 43 BCE, the Messiah was 12 and in His 13th year at the death of Herod Antipater the Idumaean. Though controversial, scripture supports this view.
Masoretic Vowel Pointing was introduced around 600/700 CE introducing the 'Tradition' of 'Weeks' into the Translation. Something to think about Robert.

A good explanation and mathematical breakdown of the 70 weeks of Daniel is in the book by Sir Robert Anderson. There is a chapter on "the coming prince." I haven't read this myself but it has been recommended by Pastor Jack Hibbs.
