I sorta found an unintentional great idea I had saved your videos to my watch later and I had watched your video of Dusty getting attention while Mr Nimoy got jealous and once it was over it swapped to the next in my list video which was your double swing skill video and the transition was almost flawless , I imagine you have enough work with recording and editing, but I was hoping every once in a while you could throw in a little random moment at the beginning of videos. If not completely understandable. Thank you so much 🥰 for reading this and I look forward to seeing more videos and to see your channel grow.
Double Wings and Frenzy use the same animation with base 17 frame/2 wings, max speed at 10 frames/2 wings at 70 EAS, but they have hidden stats, DW have 20 EAS while FZ have -30 EAS. So DW need only 50 EAS to get maximum speed while FZ need up to 100 EAS. Double throw have the same mechanic with base 12 frames/2 throws, max speed at 7 frames/2 throws at 72 EAS, but it have hidden -40 EAS, so DTh need 112 EAS to reach maximum speed
They can be very powerful melee fighters, or very useful tools by incorporating things like plague, crescent moon, or lawbringer/azure wrath. Quite powerful mercs for sure.
@@GGMentor Sensei, do you support the idea that Lawbringers should be typically made in 3-socket Phase Blades ? I read that since the Phys Damage of the runeword is largely unimportant, and that the element damage + Decrep aura breaking Phys Immunes is the ‘main appeal’ of the Word…. that a super-fast swinging Phase Blade is likely the ‘best’ Option, and also allows it to be swapped between Mercs and Players, unlike other possibilities such as Eth Cryptic / Conquest swords ?
@@AlekTrev006 for a mercenary it should be made in eth mythical sword. Every bit of damage matters. The frenzy Mark will most likely reach the maximum IAS breakpoint anyway phase blade or not
For double throw, I like getting the frenzy speed up to 10 seconds so I have some time to just let loose with double throw. Maxing this synergy is not very efficient, but I really enjoy having 10 seconds to play around in.
Back in the day (Not sure if it still works) but your frenzy charge could be built up faster with faster cast rate. I used to run around with dual spectral blades (prior to LoD) lol..
It feels like the frenzy is just useless as a skill on its own. Started a double swing barb, it needs 20 bash hardpoints to actually deal bonus damage, but it still looks more viable then maxing out frenzy as a source of damage bc even on max frenzy stacks double swing hits twice as fast, which allows to proc my 50% crushing blow twice more frequently. Confusing as hell.
Hi Ginger, I’m doing a Double Swing/Frenzy Barb…is it worth putting 20 skills into a weapon mastery? Currently using sword mastery at lvl 20. Or is it not worth it?
i love frenzy and berserk. However, it is not playable. You basicly die playing in this mode so low survivable mode in hell. It is not playable due to mass monsters.
Skill needs a rework. I wouldn't in a million years ever consider dumping 20 points into increased stamina. Taunt synergy is eh also. Kinda defeats the purpose of being a speed demon if you're spending seconds taunting a bunch of monsters one by one.
@@GGMentor Maybe for another build. Not really needed when you're a bullet traveling at mach 1. It's actually kind of a benefit if monsters are spread out and be selectively mowed down one by one.
Once you are geared the synergies for Frenzy are hardly worth it anymore. Better to just go 1 point into Double Swing and 1 into Taunt and go all out on Find Potion and some other spare points into Find Item/natural Resistance. The 30 synergy points will add about 240% additional off-hand Enhanced damage which is not a lot considering you already have about: 200% ish from Strength 210% from level 25 Frenzy 290% from level 26 Might Aura from Desert Merc 425% from Pride on Merc (Concentration Aura) 300% from Fortitude (if not using Treachery) Additional Enhanced Damage versus specific enemies: 350% from Laying of Hands (against Demons) 650% from Lawbringer (against Undead) Putting those 30 skill points in Double Swing/Taunt would only increase your off-weapon Enhanced damage from about 1400% (1750%/2050% versus demons/undead) to 1660% (1990%/2290% versus demons/undead) which is an increase of about 15% at best.
Thanks for the clarification on Magic Damage, that it is converted. I understand it better now 👍

I actually used to do this, a lot of my older videos have random snippetts of cats or other stuff

Incredible content as always. D2 GOAT
ive been waiting for this one bro.. i just made a frenzy barb a few days ago.. this would of been a little helpful lol
What do you think of the Act 5 merc? in regards to Frenzy..I have one with a Fury sword and rocking a treachery.. It's fun to watch it dart around.

This character could rival the Flash himself he is so fast.
whats the best merc for frenzy barb? all the mercs are too slow they get left wayyy behind
Lol another frenzy barb? You could double up. Use him for crescent moon static field procs, or lawbringer amp damage procs ect

Yes it is pretty much needed once you are in hell mode, the boost in attack rating and damage is important

Frenzy is a 1 point wonder on my Throw barb
How is it that your barbarian is leaving a trail of fire behind him at around 18:14?

Taunt can actually be extremely useful for some of the more annoying monsters like gloams.

The 30 synergy points will add about 240% additional off-hand Enhanced damage which is not a lot considering you already have about:
200% ish from Strength
210% from level 25 Frenzy
290% from level 26 Might Aura from Desert Merc
425% from Pride on Merc (Concentration Aura)
300% from Fortitude (if not using Treachery)
Additional Enhanced Damage versus specific enemies:
350% from Laying of Hands (against Demons)
650% from Lawbringer (against Undead)
Putting those 30 skill points in Double Swing/Taunt would only increase your off-weapon Enhanced damage from about 1400% (1750%/2050% versus demons/undead) to 1660% (1990%/2290% versus demons/undead) which is an increase of about 15% at best.
