I love this! I have just been writing a business version of standard operating procedures, calling it my routines and procedures binder. I love the anchor chart idea and involving the students in it. Then also having extra copies to give to new students this seems like such an obvious solution yet I don’t know that I ever would’ve thought of it on my own. Thank you, Bridging Literacy!
This is great!!!! I love it!!! So, CANVA has clipart on school items to help create this. Could you d a video walking or showing how to create/get the clipart and print it please? Thank you. Alicia from CT
This is a good idea. Gen Alphas are highly visual. I usually make a sequence chain, but those are all using words. I'm going to try to do this with clip art ( I can't get into my Canva account.) . Thank you for sharing.
Oh my goodness.... just the other day, Blaine came in and was going on and on about how Gen Alphas do [fill in the blank]. I looked at him and said, what are you talking about. He then proceeded to tell me how he was a Gen Alpha...... 🤣But you are so right! They need visual cues.
Amazing!! Do you have a copy of that Canva file where you put all those clip art images? They are super cute and I don't feel like looking up all of those items!! Would be super appreciated x
I have the resources in my community for members [www.bridgingliteracy.com/blc] but it was very easy to create.... I also had years where I just drew the images (certainly not my best work but it got the point across).

You are very welcome! I hope it helps.
All teachers need to do this!
I love this idea! I’m definitely going to develop some SOPs and use the binder. Thank you so much!
Hello, Bridget! I love all the picture support on your mini anchor charts. I think it will be helpful for all students. Thank you for sharing! 💜
Oh, this is done in self-contained Special Education classrooms to reinforce procedures & schedules
Great idea!
Thank you!

Same for this except you look for the clip art in Canva, similar to how it was when we learned MS Word.
This is awesome! I will be planning this with my team!
This is such a great idea❤

I've learned they will request anything that ain't what you're offering. But they need images + text captions to reinforce spelling
