Hi Emily! I'm so glad you covered this CCR song! It sound's so vibrantly fantastic!! Everything about this is outstanding! Your vocals are so smooth and flowing and you sing so effortlessly! In fact your voice is simply gorgeous and irresistible! This presentation is so lively and charming! You welcome the performance with a smile, preparing us for a stunning rendition!! 😃
Visually, the lighting is nice and bright and you look lovely with your impressive floral mauve dress and matching hair brooch! 👩 The attention to detail is always high standard with your presentations! The videography is also excellent; plus the overlays of Simon are aesthetically superb! It must be mentioned that there's also splendid mixing by Elvis Garagic, having your vocals up-front in the mix! 🎙️🔊
The song starts and you have Simon Tomkins accompanying you! The music has a great "feel" with Simon vamping on the guitar generating a tempo beat! Plus we can hear you subtly slapping the Taylor also! 🎸 The guitars sound bright and fresh and tend to blend in as one through the verses. The song is smartly written by John Fogerty; as it tends to generally have one chord playing along with the catchy melody through the verses! Clever composition!! 🎼
At 0:41 the camera cuts away to show a full view of you on the Taylor guitar! The atmosphere is terrific as you sing; ♫ "Cleaned a lot of plates in Memphis"♪. Then at 1:04 just after you sing; ♫ "Proud Mary keeps on burning"♪; Simon adds some flare with a slide down the neck of the guitar! In addition straight after this, there's a creative sudden close-up dissolve of the camera, as you sing; ♫ "Rolling, Rolling"♪. (nice work Christine!) 🎥
Simon is adding some grand guitar accompaniment and at 1:22, he shows off his skills with an outstanding guitar solo! The camera work and recording of the guitar are also first-rate! At 1:46 we are in for a treat, as Simon displays his handy-work playing the melody of; ♫ "Rolling, rolling on the river"♪. He even does this playing two strings at once, giving the sound a chord-like layered effect! Outstanding! Bravo! 👏👏
We return at 1:55, with another stunning close-up of you, as you sing; ♫ "If you come down to the river"♪. You work the camera well in this performance and at 2:02; you give some expressive visual conveying of the lyrics with; ♫ "You don't have to worry cause you have no money"♪. Your performance is outstanding. I bet you would have loved to do some harmonies at 2:18 on; ♫ "Rolling, rolling"♪.
