8:06 It's a coin. What do you expect The Don Rickles of Nickels? Damn that's good. That's just goes to show that you have some of the coolest viewers ( Myself). D
First off I dig the no BS content you put out, by far my favorite out of all the other RUclips coin collecting channels... Secondly, this video brings me to a QUESTION. If mint sets (not proof) are sold at a lowish price, comparatively speaking, (and I would imagine they are all in extremely high MS condition) then why doesn't everyone just buy a mint set, take it out of the case, send it to NGC or PCGS and put it up on Heritage for those stupidly high prices certain years go for? Are the mint sets not sold in MS 70 condition? Pardon my ignorance, but I'm not a mint set collector.
In my limited experience, Mint sets, whether SILVER PROOF, PROOF or UNC, rarely yield grades higher than MS66, PF66 but many do crack open Mint sets-Shawn has some videos on the subject.
Hello BlueRidge . Ding the light just came on . Wow I had forgotten about the 1968 I've always been just looking for the 75 . Yes life changing $ is correct and hopefully I'll find one on my sets . Thanks for refreshing my memory LoL 😀 👍🏽🌵
Thank You for an awesome video. I learn alot from you. I will be looking for the 1968 Proof Set with no s on Dime as well as the other years you talked about. Also gonna look for the frosting or Cameo. That huge amount of money could make a difference in my life. Amen. God Bless 🙏
Hi guy l,ve been watching your coin videos for a couple of years and the info you give is excellent, but to help you a bit 😜 no offense of course l suggest you cut the time on your videos to 7 minutes or less so is better to be short and to the point with the coin 😂 hahaha! Good luck! and keep up 💪 the good work.
I have 1968D Lincoln penny since my great grandfather gave it me with others old Lincoln coins and still they were under my possession mostly 70s including 1936, 1956, 1963 , 1964,1980, and also 1919 one penny . Others are Queen Elizabeth II, Philippines old coins to be considered🥰❤️💥🌟
Hi. I'm Karen and I just found an un circulated 1968 s. Penny roll in my grand fathers coins that I inherited. What would be the best advise to handle them? Also?a couple 1940s rolls their still copper new looking.. Any advice? And by the way you are my favorite guy on you tube for coins!!
I was born in ‘68. Just pulled out my 1968 mint set. Shucks.... it has the s mint mark. Good to know about this error tho. Enjoying many of your helpful videos the last few days. Thanks!
HI SHAUN, I'M PLAYING CATCH UP ON YOUR VIDEO! I HAVE THIS SET OF 68'S AND MOST OF THE COINS ARE ALL TURNING GOLD IN COLOR, THE PENNY N THE NIICKEL N THE QURTAR N THE KENNY IS JUST STARTING TOO. N KINDA THE DIME AS WELL WHAT DO YOU THINK I SHOULD DO WITH THIS SET? KEEP IT OR SEND IT IN TO HAVE IT GREATED THXS FOR YOU TIME!!!
The sets with the coins of the philidelphia mint and san fransisco assay office do not have a kennedy half dollar in them. The one from the denver have the kennedy half in them. The phili and san fransisco have a washington quarter a jefferson nickel a roosevelt dime with a p mint mark and two lincoln pennies one with no mint mark and one has an s mint mark.?? Could u clarify??
I inherited a collection.. a big collection.. having someone come and look tomorrow to see what I have... I hope this set is the real deal.. I have two 68 sets, one with other without.. my father had wrote on it 15,ooo... how do I know for sure.
I have 1968 sets that i bought from the mint around twenty years ago i also have 3 sets that i bought from the mint that r denver mint coins..the 2 sets from san francisco all r still in the original sullafane package and there is no kennedy halfs in them?? The denver mint ones have the kennedy halfs..i am confused could u clarify??
I have 2 1968 uncirculated sets, & each has a dime with no mint mark (no S), so I got excited for a second, until I remembered that they are uncirculated sets and not proof sets…. Oh well…
Hi blue i have a question for you i have a 1965 clad ss mint set it has a 90 precent silver half in it so do my others. The paper in with them say it's an all clad set so can you help me understand why they have a 90 percent half thank you
How can they tell the difference between a 1968 p and a 1968 s proof. If you have a P&D mint set from 1968 couldn't you just substitute a Philadelphia?
After watching this twice to be sure . I checked my proof sets and found this dime , perfectly tucked in the jacket with both Denver and San Francisco sets ...no "S" on it . The Denver penny's , there was two in the set and one no mint mark these sets were U C sets not proof sets What's the best way to verify?
This guy has good information but damn, he talks too much. Get to the point already, you think I'm gonna wait 15 min to find out the dime has no s? Sorry after 5 minutes and repeatedly saying it will be revealed at the end of the video, thanks for the 'spoiler' I fast forwarded.
❤❤❤❤❤
