If I won the lottery, I would buy a this vehicle.
For those prices... get a Land Cruiser or LX. A used one will still outlast that thing.

wait..what??? 28 gallon gas tank?? I am going to guess, today's avg. gas price (assuming this takes unleaded) is 6 bucks times 28 gallons= cost 168 bucks to fill it up!
I love the big GM products but they’ve gotten very expensive not to mention the lifter problem that plagues them and GM doesn’t want anything to do with helping people on that issue so I’ve turned to Lexus Toyota Hyundai
The lifter problem is over blown

Nice. Surprised to see that 20mpg highway rating, 14 city/20 highway. Prior years it was always 14/18 instead of 14/20, at least on all the videos I saw. Do you know what changed to get that 20 mpg highway rating? Is this just a 2 wheel drive version, is that why? If so, does that mean if I drive the 4 wheel drive version in 2H that it will also average 20mpg highway? Other? Thanks.

Shift buttons are dumb.
I do some engineering, I was able to sneak a brand new engine into a used gmc, in addition to the normal engine, making it 16 cylinders, stacked one on top of the other.
That runs on 87 pretty good but takes a long time to start.
And I wanted the new motor to be better displayed...
So I replaced the second motor with a supercharger.
And it all works perfectly fine. On 90+
I've got a 2023 denali with the 3.0 diesel and 20,000 miles for sale if anyone is looking. Almost identical to this one but brown inside and the black wheels

Big SUVs was nice back in the early 2000s, modern day gas prices makes this look like a unnecessary bill.

Vehicle Visionary : this 6.2 litre V8 with 420 HP is 18 years old engine that was first introduced in the Chervolet Camaro Bumblebee back in 2006. This is a very inefficient V8 engine and it in desperate need of a turbo or a compressor to elevate the HP output to at least 600 HP for such a large SUV and to elevate the efficiency.
I have a 2016 yukon Denali with the same engine. It is an awesome engine with lots of power and it is not inefficient for its size considering it is in a 6000 lb vehicle. I have an 8 speed transmission and the combination functions well. I get 17-18 mpg combined and average 22-23 on the highway. Decent gas mileage for a beast of a vehicle. I absolutely love this engine.
Love the 2024 version. Unfortunately, the 2025 version is going to that ugly, disgusting 13 or 14 inch tablet down the center console. That's a deal breaker for me.

Exterior of vehicle is really nice. Interior is hideous. Steer wheel is ugly and center cluster is just so unrefined. Why do we have to have digital instrument cluster that’s looks childish and tacky? If they did a redesign on the interior and got rid of the electronic shift selector I really would consider this vehicle due to its V8.

The cost? The quality? Nope nothing built after COVID is worth anything
Would be nice if the third row seats could recline and has more legs room so everybody traveling get comfortable the whole trips

Great video! A very thorough review.
One can order a Chevrolet Tahoe Premier that has everything the Denali has and $3,500 cheaper. The only difference is the fog lights. My biggest problem with these vehicles and I have a 2023 Tahoe Premier is the side clothes hangers will not function right, ones hanging clothes will fall off to the floor while driving and taking corners. I fixed that and it was simple and safer as well for the rear door windows vision for the driver. GM should provide the fix I have as an accessory. Another is these large vehicles do not have any internal storage area like under the seats for example, also the recessed storage area in the back is so shallow that maybe an umbrella will fit inside it and that's all !
