Left handed gamer here - keypad is why I bought this keyboard over others cause I use several buttons in the number pad area with my right hand.
Great video man, I ordered this keyboard a few days ago, should be here tomorrow; I can't wait.

@@shahmeermalik4897 I love it, typing on it right now. Switches definitely took some getting used to, the actuation point of my old keyboard was much greater, so I was a little too rough on this keyboard at first and was hitting keys by mistake. Now I'm used to it, and it feels amazing. Great for gaming and typing. Not to mention it just looks so nice, well worth the money.

@@shahmeermalik4897 Sorry for the late reply, youtube only decided to notify me just now. I used a drevo kalibur mechanical keyboard. I had the wireless version with "red" switches. Keyboard was about $50 and it definitely felt like a cheap keyboard. It was mechanical, 10 keyless design; switches were ok for typing but not great for gaming. That was my keyboard I got for my ipad, so before *that* I was using a razer blackwidow chroma. I got tired of how loud the keyboard was, and one of the metal brackets attached to the spacebar to hold it in place broke *twice*. I've since fixed the keyboard and found out it's practically worthless to resell, so it's just sitting in its box in my room.

I use the num pad every day while gaming. I will only buy full sized keyboards (left handed). Also, numpad is useful for any kind of numerical entry. Sick of people shitting on full sized keyboards.

Great Keybaord but the Caps lock is in the wrong place. If you sitting down you can't see it its on or off.
I can't get the profile switcher button to work. I think I'm doing something wrong with the sequence for saving to the keyboard. Any tips?

Any thought when the other switches are coming out?
Nice videro dude, but I noticed it doesn't come with the wrist wrest and doesn't seem like much of an improvement compared to the Alloy Elite RGB. Although, I ended up buying the HyperX Pudding PBT Keycaps which this new model looks like it has and they definitely emit the RGB goodness a lot more. I dunno, seems nice they've refreshed the board as I love my experience with it so far but not nice that HyperX continued to ignore supporting the Alloy Elite RGB through their newest software (I'm guessing this refresh may point something out here).
Hey thanks! Yea they said they removed the Alloy Elite rgb support due to issues but promised to reintroduce it this summer but I'm not sure where they are on that. If you already have the Alloy Elite rgb with pbt keycaps it's definitely not worth the upgrade, but if you're coming from a cheap or old keyboard, this is a great option.
@@JATCHOYT Well, they've delivered their promise as I just installed HyperX Beta and it now supports my Alloy Elite RGB :)

HyperX Alloy Elite 2 or Steelseries Apex 5? im having a hard time deciding between the two for gaming
Apex 7 has a OLED screen and a wrist rest. elite 2 has no wrist rest with rgb strip that might help or apex 5
Apex 5 no apex 7 red or apex pro.. if not this hyperx aloy elite 2 is the way..
If i change the keycaps, what will happen with the lightings? Will it glow less( like a normal rgb keycaps)
If the new keycaps are not pudding and don't have translucent sides, yes it will glow less

Depends on what you want, the elite 2 has dedicated media controls and better rgb, but if you are on a tight buget the alloy fps rgb will do fine. Though if you can I would recommend to at least wait for the fps pro to get a discount and then buy it, it's far superior.

Yes it's compatible with Mac!
AlexHomeTech does the customizable software feature also work?
@@mightbeamerican6095 if you're referring to the ngenuity app, it's not Mac compatible but you can set the profiles to the onboard memory and use it on a Mac.. But you'll need to download on a windows machine to set those profiles
