He realises that jinx is just broken and that he had given up on jinx which wasn’t the right decision. “I’ve never seen you give up on anything ekko” meant the world to him. He gave powder a little of jinx and gave jinx a little of powder. Making both of them better
The one thing is I don't think he "loves" Jinx. Not the one from his timeline, at least not romantically. I think he loves her as someone he used to know, someone he cares about, perhaps a friend, and as someone who was/is broken. I think the point of Ekko's story is that he sacrifices that. He gives up his dream with Powder, who isn't Jinx. He does it because his people in his timeline need him, Zaun and his friends and the firelights. They all need him. So sacrifices his happiness to go back and fight. Now maybe in the future Jinx and Ekko can work it out. But I don't think they have yet, because Ekko loves Powder, and Powder is gone in his timeline. Jinx is all that remains. He knows that, and it can't be changed. But he still goes back and fights anyway because its the right thing to do. That's special. That's a hero's sacrifice. And it's what he did.
Yeah man. Cause Alternate Ekko always saw Powder as this contented reserved helpful person. Even if he encourages her, there's no way of backing it up. But Main Ekko knows and fears and is also in awe of what she is, can be, and will be. So Powder really felt that encouragement
Powder helped Ekko find forgiveness and hope, and Ekko helped Powder find courage and strength. It is so powerful to see how Ekko grew in this episode.
Honestly what won me over, is time, in the normal timeline when ekko disappeared, the firelights n most of zhun just outright forgives jinx in a way that feels forced AF, because we see a year of her being dormant and basically wanted signs of her but somehow she becomes the the icon of the people, when she single-handedly killed a lot of people up top and down below, sure she let them go but not to unite them, sevika who's straight up understood alot these people don't like each other, but they are from the same place so they should stand together, doesn't change the past that takes time. Through ekko's eyes we saw hin n powder Bond. Slowly, we understand why he learned to give her another chance cuz the first time he saw her, he was hostile, rightfully so. Even when he sees his jinx he sees her at a time where she's the most vulnerable she's ever been, and they talk, helping her to try one more time.
Zaun never had anything to forgive her for. Firelights yes, that is weird. She never went against the people of zaun, and only killed firelights because of their attacks on silcos operations. Its not weird that to zaunites she whould be a hero, they to wanted to blow up piltovers

@@guzonjaguzic9742she helped Silco drown Zaun in shimmer, which we see created sharp class divides and utterly ruined several people's lives, like Huck who was waaaay better off before Silco's reign. She's at the very least intimidated people like Chuck on a daily basis just for shits and giggles.

She was a part of that for sure but no way a population of people whould know or be affected by her. Its only after silcos death that she becomes famous for sticking it to piltover.
They are perfect together but the way she fell in love with our ekko it gave me the impression her relationship with her universes ekko wasn't as rock solid
This makes ZERO sense if you think it through, everything about how she interacted with our Ekko shows that they were BASICALLY a couple in almost all the ways that count.. two peas on a pod VERY close friends.. the only thing I see that aligns with what you're saying (&it doesn't) is the fact that this Ekko was so preoccupied building and researching (probably driven by guilt for Vi's death) that he didn't have time to pursue a relationship with a girl who's so obviously in love with him

AU Ekko and Powder were solid but I would say they were just comfortable. AU Ekko would come to Powder with crazy ideas and she would help him. This is a glimpse of the genius of Jinx within Powder but in a more stable, limited condition. Vander eludes to her potential but she shrugs it off because it's just dad on repeat. Our Ekko is so traumatised by Jinx that he flinches away from her and doesn't understand what's happening but Powder doesn't abandon him throughout his confusion because AU Powder loves her Ekko. Now, our Ekko reagnites Powders genius whilst creating the Z-Drive together. AU Powder will now use that ignited love and passion with her Ekko to better the living conditions for Piltover and Zaun whilst further enhancing their relationship from comfortable to rock solid.
...She literally showed her potential from the first episode. She always tinkered with scrap inventions, like Ekko. Ekko was a shy kid as well, even looking at their interactions in LoL, where the canon used to matter, he still admits he used to have a crush on her. He could've told her at any point but this time-travel bullcrap where say universe A Ekko can understand what Jinx went through as Powder could tell universe B Powder in order to prevent her from *becoming* Jinx. Which fucks with not only LoL lore, multiverse theory, but, shatters the purpose and limitations of his OWN powers.
